the s1 models have been having several problems. it really depends on how many times the red led is blinking. panasonic uses a certain number of blinks to tell you what board has failed. the s1 models have just recently come out. therefore your tv should still be under manufacturer warranty. call panasonic and see if there is a servicer in your area. our company is in dallas texas. 5 blinks is telling you that IC4511 on the DG board is faulty. This is not serviceable you will need a new DG board the part number of that board is TNP2AA126
