usually clicking is bad capacitors or it could be a short on your power supply. Try unplugging power, wait 2 minutes, plug back in. If it still clicks, you can look inside for bad caps.. =

Check the relay you might have a bad relay board. Also check other things like decoder board. I am sure you might have a stuck relay. its hard to tell behind email.

The clicking means that there is a shorted board such as a Power Supply,Y-Main bd,or other parts. Have a trained Samsung tech troubleshoot the set.

most times then not it's the capacitors on your power board that blew there for not supplying the tv with enough power if you open it up and check the capacitors it should be leaking some kind of liquid or the tops have bubbled up. its an easy fix cost>>2 dollars each

Most likely what happened is one of the capacitors went bad. When a capacitors goes bad it produces a popping sound. This could be an easy and cheap fix if you find the bad capacitor or capacitors. The bad capacitor will have a bulging top most likely on the power board but could be anywhere.

I would have to say take it back. Make them replace it before you get stuck with it. Customer satisfaction is on your side. 90 day warranty.

Our LG 50" plasma tv screen went black after a popping noise but still had sound, after great diliberations decided to take the back off and have a peek!
We unplugged the tv and tested the fuses (there were three we could see) one had blown, the one on the left as you look at the back of the tv it also has one above it. We wrote the code/seriel number down and took the fuse to the electrical wholesalers Maplin and bought a pack of 10 fuses for £1.29 replaced the fuse in the tv and everything now fine!!!!!!
