I tried re-installing flash player and all the settings are in order, but farmville keeps giving a black screen...?

Try this

1. Uninstall Flash Player using the Flash Player Uninstaller - click here
2. Download the reset_fp10.zip file and extract the reset_fp10.cmd file to the directory C:\ - click here
3. Download and install the Subinacl tool to the C:\ drive (By default it installs in C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\ but if you install it in that location it will not recognize the subinacl program even if the reset_fp10.cmd is in the same location)- click here
4. *Important: Be sure that both the subinacl.exe and reset_fp10.cmd files are in the same location.
5.
In Windows Vista and Windows 7, launch command prompt (Run as Administrator) and go to C:\. Type "reset_fp10.cmd".A command window will open, and SubInACL will run.
6.
Do not use the machine while SubInACL is running.
7.
After SubInACL finishes, you will see a prompt "Press any key to continue".
8.
Download Flash Player 9 Activex - click here
9. Install the Flash Player- click here / or download from www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

These procedures worked on my friend's PC, hope asme goes to yours. Goodluck!

My widows is VISTA. I am trying to download ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 10. But it is not working now. So, tell me how i can download it. Shihab

Hi.
Here is what I found on the network regarding your problem.
It might help you.

Here's the scenario: you download the latest and greatest version of the Adobe Flash Player. After it finishes installing, you go to a site featuring Flash content and are greeted with a message notifying you that you need to install Flash Player, but didn't you just do that? To properly update your Flash Player, you need to run the installation as Administrator. Follow these steps to properly install Adobe Flash Player:
For Vista (32 bit):
1. Open Computer.
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\.
3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.
4. Open the Flash directory.
5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.
6. Select Run as Administrator.
7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.
8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.
For Vista (64 bit):
1. Open Computer.
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.
3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.
4. Open the Flash directory.
5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.
6. Select Run as Administrator.
7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.
8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.
Once the wizard completes, Flash Player has been properly installed and will now function properly.

Try to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player Active X and Plug in and then reinstall it as there could be traces of previous versions in the computer which are interfering and making it difficult for the browsers to properly display videos on your computer. You can do this from the computer user settings and manipulating the "Add/Remove" programs list.
-- Try to use Flash Player 9 is your Flash Player 10 is not working fine. You can simply download it from the Adobe web site.
-- Update the drivers, the link is given below which would ask you to download the file through internet and run it on your computer.
-- The problem behind the Shockwave Flash crash could be your sound drivers. Follow these steps:
1) Open Device Manager 2) Look for the sound-card device 3) Note down the name for that device 4) Just uninstall the it. 5) After uninstalling restart your machine. 6) Your Windows 7 or Windows Vista would automatically download and reinstall the sound driver. You can also do it manually through approaching the sound card company's web site.
-- Fix your Windows Registry which is a highly recommended thing you should do to find a quick and reliable fix for common PC errors and crashes.use registry cleaner reg in out

Cannot download Adobe Flash Player. Have downloaded different versions. The download appears on the Control Panel--->Programs----> uninstall/change but is not usable.

Use "Add/Remove Programs" to uninstall Adobe Flash Player.

Close all Internet Explorer windows.
Start Internet Explorer.
Access: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
and the latest version of Adobe Flash Player will get installed.

Will not let me see videos on Youtube becaause of flash player not installed When i installed it it said You need a newer version of windows.

What version of Window do you have ?
Win 98, Win 98se, Windows 2000 don't have newer program written for them. Most programs only support XP / Vista. If you have flash Ver. 6 and YouTube requires Ver. 8 or above. You're out of luck. I've had to dump all my Win98/ Win 2000 PC because of that problem in my school. Web is all Flash/ Shockwave anymore.

You should be able to download and install Flashplayer 10 (now by Adobe): http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
and if it still won't work correctly, apply this fix: http://thetechangel.com/blogberry/2008/10/adobe-flash-player-10-fix-for-vista-xp/
