Usually the pin code is either 1234, or 0000. If that doesn't work, the problem may be the sim card. Are you an old AT&T customer? What are the first 4 digits of your sim card? 8931 or 8901? The trouble comes in, if you are an old ATT customer, it is a 32kb sim card and will not work with newer phones unless it is a 64kb card. If you are an old Cingular customer, just call ATT and tell them you need a new sim card, they will have no problem doing that. If you are an old ATT customer you will need to change your plan or get an unlocked phone. That is just the way it works. Sorry I can't be more help.

Hi is your Motorola C168i mobile is asking for sim network unlock pin code once you insert your sim in it then it mean your phone is locked to some other network provider due to this it wont accept any other GSM sim until you unlock it ..You can easily unlock your phone using sites like ProUnlocking.com here they are rendering network unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost ...You first check that whether the code is available for your country and network provider .If yes then pay for it and unlock your phone then freely use it with any GSM sim ...
