You to need to go unto another computer and get a program called Kon Boot and burn it to disc. Set you computer to boot from cd. Kon Boot will by pass the password screen. Once in you will need to create another user with administrator rights. Once you go back in that account will be the only one that shows up since adminstrator is only displayed when there are no other users.

Forgot user account psswords

If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user account with
administrative privileges you can log into that account and change your
original user account's password from the User Accounts applet in Control
Panel. If you don't have another account like this set up or don't have the
password to it, you'll need to log into the built-in Administrator account.
In XP Home, boot the computer into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping
the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right
menu. Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here. Once
in Safe Mode, you will see the normally hidden Administrator account. The
default password is a blank.

In XP Pro, you do not need to go into Safe Mode. At the Welcome Screen, do
Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in
"Administrator" and whatever password you assigned when you set up Windows.

To change the built-in Administrator account in XP Pro if you can log into
another account with administrative privileges reset the password in the
Local Users and Groups snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC):

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type "mmc" (without the quotation marks), and then click
OK to start MMC.
3. Start the Local Users and Groups snap-in.
4. Under Console Root, expand "Local Users and Groups", and then click
Users.
5. In the right pane, right-click Administrator, and then click Set
Password.
6. Click Proceed in the message box that appears.
7. Type and confirm the new password in the appropriate boxes, and then
click OK.

If you reset the built-in Administrator account's password in Home or have
Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the built-in
Administrator account's password to a blank.

Enable / Disable the Local (Hidden, Built-In) Administrator Account in Windows 7

Ways to Enable / Disable the Built-In Windows 7 Admin Account Many people familiar with prior versions of Windows are curious what happened to the Local Administrator account that was always created by default. Does this account still exist, and how can you access it?
Recently I ran into an awkward situation where after disjoining a Windows 7 client machine from the domain, I was unable to log in to the computer. This was not because I had forgotten the local administrator password, but because the local administrator account was disabled (which is the default behavior in Windows 7). Like in Windows Vista, in Windows 7 the built-in Administrator's account is disabled by default. Furthermore, this account is not associated with any password. After doing some research, I found the following procedure that worked really well.
Enable Built-in Administrator Account Basically there are 4 ways in order to activate the account:
A) Command Prompt To enable the built-in Administrator's account by using the Command Prompt please follow these steps:
1. First you'll need to open a command prompt in administrator mode by right-clicking and choosing "Run as administrator" (or use the Ctrl+Shift+Enter shortcut from the search box)
2. After that you only need to enter the simple command below to activate it.
net user administrator /active:yes
3. You should see a message that the command completed successfully. Log out, and you'll now see the Administrator account as a choice.
You'll note that there's no password for this account, so if you want to leave it enabled you should change the password.
B) Local Security Policy Another way of activating the administrator account in Windows 7 is via Local Security Policy.
1. Type secpol.msc in the search bar and hit enter.
2. After the Local Security Policy pops up, navigate to Local Policies-> Security Options where you can see an entry that reads Accounts: Administrator account. Double click the entry to enable it.

C) Using the Local Users and Groups Snap-in To enable the built-in Administrator's account by using the Local Users and Groups snap-in please follow these steps:
1. Open Local Users and Groups. You can do so by typing lusrmgr.msc in the Start search box or in the Run command and pressing ENTER. Or, you could open Computer Management by right-clicking Computer in the Start menu and selecting Manage.
2. Expand System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Users.
3. Right-click the Administrator account and select "Set Password".
4. In the"Set Password for Administrator" click "Proceed".
5. In the"Set Password for Administrator" enter the Administrator's desired password twice, and click "Ok".
6. Next, enable the Administrator's account. Right-click the Administrator's account and select "Properties".
7. Un-chek the "Account is disabled" check-box. Click on the "Ok" button.
Administrator's account is now enabled and configured with a password.
D) During the Installation Process There is a 3rd method which advanced users can use. This method can be used during the installation process itself.
1. During the installation, after being prompted to configure the new user account, you will be able to set the new account's password.
2. At that phase, press SHIFT and F10 keys together. A Command Prompt window will appear.
3. In the Command Prompt window, type:
net user
Note how the Administrator account is there, yet the new user account has not been yet created.
4. To set the Administrator's account password:
net user *
5. Then enter the required password and confirm it.
6. To enable the Administrator's accoun:
net user administrator /active:yes
7. Close the Command Prompt window and continue with the installation process.
If you log off you will now see the Administrator's account as a valid logon option.
Disable Built-in Administrator Account Make sure you are logged on as your regular user account, and then open an administrator mode command prompt as above. Type the following command:
net user administrator /active:no
The administrator account will now be disabled, and shouldn¡¯t show up on the login screen anymore.
Hack into Windows 7 Administrator Account [Free Trial]

I want to login with my pc how can i login pls help.

If you forget your password and can't log in, there is a administrator account which is visible when you log in in safe mode. just press F8 function key repeatedly when the computer boots up and it will prompt you to a number of accounts. Just log in to administrator account, go to control panel, user accounts and go to your account name and click remove password. You can now restart your computer and never worry about your password account.Hope this helps.

My nine year old changed my password on my asus eee 1005 computer and F9 dont work.please help it is kind of important to me

Is this your windows Password? Or the BIOS password? If you are talking about the Windows, you can simply press F8 at boot many times until you get to the Windows Advanced Menu. Choose Start Safe Mode and after it boots you might your Account name and the "Administrator" account. Log in as Administrator (usually with No password) and go to Start - Contorl Panel - User Account and click on you account name, and then simply remove password. Do not click on change because it will ask you the old password and you dont know it. If it's the BIOS password please let me know.

My Dell DVD ROM isn't working and to make matters worse I have locked myself out of the OS..I'm not the administrator anymore, I do have my sisters laptop if that helps. I have got the orignal OEM VISTA...

If you know a password for a user account you could try pressing F8 before it boots and choosing Repair - then restore to an earlier point in time.

I was given a compaq computer running Windows XP. It boots up to a previous user and is looking for that user's password. How can I reset password or access administrator account?

I would suggest you to try the following :

Boot the computer in safe mode.
Press F8 while booting the system, It will give you Windows Advance boot option, Select Safe mode and press Enter. You will see two accounts, Administrator and the Previous User's . Select the Administrator. If it allows you to log in, go to control Panel, User Accounts and delete the previous user's account and create a New user with your name. Reboot the computer in normal mode.

Hope this works. Please let me know if you need further Assistance. Your comments and ratings are highly appreciated.

Computer pc pass word forgotten

You should actually have 2 accounts. One is called Administrator and appears when you start your operating system in safe mode. It has no password by default so you should still be able to access it.

Restart your computer and keep hitting 'F8' until you're prompted with a menu. Select something along the lines of 'Start Windows In Safe Mode' and Windows will load. Just login to the administrator account and remove the password.
It might also be a good idea to put a password on the admin account and keep it somewhere safe.

If that doesn't work then reset the password via the jumpers on the MOBO. See below:

Assuming that you have a Pentium Processor:

Shut down your PC. Detach Power plug. Open your CPU case. Touch casing or metal to ensure grounding. You will see 3 pins on the mother board. In that 3 pins first 2 pins are closed with a jumper. Take the jumper off & replace it on the other two pins. Now try to turn on your PC. It should open Windows without asking you for password.
