I need to download drivers for my acer aspire 4720z crystal eye web cam

Are you installing the web cam software from the manufacturer's website? If so, did you choose the correct version that matches your operating system? (Windows 7 x86/x64 or Win8?)

You can reinstall the sound drivers from the Acer recovery management, to do so:
Start Menu> All Programs> Acer erecovery management> Restore> Restore Application & Drivers> Contents> Select Acer Crystal Eye Web Cam and install it

OR

Got to http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/
Select the computer model
Select Operating System installed on your computer
Click Drivers
Select WebCam (Acer Crystal Eye) and download it.
Once downloaded, install it on your computer.

You need to redownload the drivers for your crystal eye web cam. Go to this link: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

When you get there, select "Notebook"...then select "Aspire". Then scroll down and select Aspire 5745. Then where you see "Operating System", select your operating system (ex: XP, Vista, or Windows 7). It will then show all the drivers for your operating system...scroll down until you see the camera driver software and then download and reinstall it. Hopefully this will help...good luck.

you need to download a vista driver for this web cam, if it is avaiable from www.acer.com

upgrade your yahoo messanger or go to the preferences and check what web cam settings you have

There seems to be a problem with the Crystal Eye Cam driver on the Acer Aspires when running Vista. Here are some links to the drivers:
