I'v upgrade to window 7 and micorosoft 7 and now my 5 in 1 card reader for SD memory cards don't word Its a Laptop aser extensa 5620G

Go to this site (http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=726) and download the drivers and if you fail run windows update you are most likely to find it listed

Check that you have thermal paste between the processor and the heat-sink it is easy to get at but be caerfull with the fan it only has a short cable.

si te manda señal al tablero lo mas probable es q tengas catalizador tapado o el flujo limitado por fractura de la "piedra" del catalizador en todo caso necesitas reemplazar el catalizador ya q los sensores detectan este tipo de problema

I believe the hard drive is in a state of shock which can be cause by the fall. The disk the system is reffering to is the windows operating system disk which some how you aquire will only format you hard drive which mean new installed operating system.

By the way is it Acer Laptop if so please state your model number for refference

Bluetooth not working on acer aspire 5738

Hi tallyman,
you lost bet ...when it has a bluetooth switch it will have a hardware installed.
Best solution is got is a simple call to acer service support,the problem very very simple in 5738 machines they installed foxcom bluetooth device a very much updated version.But the drives in your cd will be broadcom drivers install aspire 3810T model bluetooth drivers.

If you have no video at all then turn off the laptop. Reseat the memory and then turn the laptop back on with just the AC Adaptor hooked up to see if you get video if not then try reseating the memory into the other slot and try turning it on again to see if you get video. If not then your motherboard may be bad. Just curious though after you turn on the laptop, does the hard drive light keep flickering like its trying to load windows?

You will probably have to look on the net for a driver that is compatible with windows 7 for your bluetooth device. If you cant find one designed for windows 7 you could try a driver made for vista as many vista drivers work for windows 7 devices as well

Your laptop probably hasn't got a bluetooth module installed. The bluetooth key is standard on the 5738 but bluetooth isn't. Check the specs on the box & I'll bet bluetooth isn't mentioned.

Sorry, bet still not lost - definitely has a switch and definitely no bluetooth module, though they can be purchased from Acer - about £20 - bit of a fiddle to install though so haven't bothered yet. Also, if it has bluetooth there will be a 'bluetooth certified' sticker on the base mentioning the fact - alongside the wifi one.
