you need to put the camera into playback mode then go into the menu and go to the setup menu Then USB streaming and turn it on That should enable the computer to recognize the camera
the reel sensor is the problem of your camera...in my job as a
technician i always encounter that..it is a poor connection of the
sensor to the mainboard..try to clean the contact using only a pencil
eraser..
You have to plug your camera into the computer, put it on VCR mode, go to the menu on the camcorder, select setup menu (4th down), usb stream, turn it on. I cannot believe it was that easy.
I have a sony hi 8 video camera recorder. Someone dropped it and now we cant get the tape out to put in another camera. Can I use a USB to get the information off the camera?
