Patch for Belkin 54 modem for Mac

Hiya, Please can you tell me if there is a patch available for the Belkin 54 modem for Mac. There is a known connection problem, we can only enter very few sites. We already have the patch for Windows.
Many Thanks

YOu shouldnt need drivers, and i take it you mean a router, as MBP do not have rj11 jacks for modems. And if so, you're using the external modem apple sells for the intel based machines. Anyhow, we sell Belkin gear, and the cd should come in the box of be downloaded...

http://www.belkin.com/support/search/?lid=en&search=router

and if not and the device is less than a year old, try tech support, the number is on the same site.

Wish you well.

I have just moved house and quickly yanked out all the wires from my computer but I've forgotten how to wire up the Belkin router and the modem. Can you help? I'm trying to hook up to my DSL 502T modem and...

Hi,
Just to confirm... You have both a laptop and a desktop to connect to the router?
Assuming this is correct:
Note: The router image below may not be the exact model, but will be based on a similar set-up
  • Using a patch cable, connect one end to the modem, and the other end to the router's "Modem" port (First on the left in the pic)
  • Using a 2nd patch cable, connect one end to the PC, and the other to any of the ports numbered 1-4 on the router
At this point, there are any number of paths to go down depending on your ISP, connection type, etc., but the best advise I can give is to concentrate on getting the PC working first, then getting the wi-fi to work. Power up all devices in the following order
  1. Modem (Wait to get the 'ready' or 'ok' light)
  2. Router (Again, wait until you have a 'ready' or 'ok' light)
  3. PC
Try to access the internet. If all went OK, you should be connected.

Try cabling them and powering up first. If you're still having problems, Reply here, and we'll talk through them.

Leviton Home Network Patch Panel Question

Unless your switch is very, very different from all the other switches I have used, simply connecting the ports to live systems is all you need to do. Have you tried this?

It may be that the patch panel is not wired, and that is kind of a pain.

Connect two computers to D-Link ADSL Modem (DSL-502T)

There are many USB to ethernet adapters available, for example - Belkin USB to Ethernet Adapter with 2m Patch Cable from Amazon. Your laptop may only be USB version 1.0 so it would be best to make sur the adapter supports USB 1.0 and 2.0.
