SOURCE: picture faded to black, came back, faded again and had stayed black.

It seems your set has a loose conection in the high voltage circuits,in fact by now it should have many loose conections in different areas like the power supply and the horizontal deflection circuits,if you are familiar with tv service you can use the information as the first step to take, some of the loose conections are hard to see even for the trained technician but the one giving you this problem should not be hard to see,if you are not too familiar with tv service be safe and call for assistance from a servicer a least for an estimate.

SOURCE: LED light fades as soon as turned on and no sound

I had the same thing happen to me. I also am using a Mac. The fuse in the woofer would blow right when I powered on.

I talked to Logitech and they said it was a 'bad ground' issue. I faxed them my receipt and they are sending me another set of speakers for free. They said I do not have to return the original speakers. I will try to let you know if the new set works.

Does anybody know how to fix a 'bad ground'?

    SOURCE: Loud Humming Noise

Samsung is notorious for having the motor on the color wheel burn out. If the color on the tv starts to fade or shift tones when the rev'ing or noise is happening then you'll know its the color wheel. There are only two moving parts in this set, the color wheel and the fans. If you're smelling something, it could be either. Take the back off the set and put a piece of tape on the lamp door switch and turn the set on. Try to pinpoint the source of the noise. If its a fan, no big deal, Radio shack should have a replacement. If it sounds like its comming from under the set, dig a little deeper and try unhooking the color wheel motor, not as easy as I am making it sound but either way the fan is about $20 to fix and the color wheel is about $100. Sure beats a $400 tech bill. If you get stuck, comment back and I'll send pictures of the dismantle.

SOURCE: Sound cuts out frequently for a few seconds

Its possible this could be resolve without taking the tv back. Make sure it's not the source. IE cable box, xbox or ps3 etc. Try swapping out wires. If all else fails, then one board should be the culprit. I believe (If my memory serves me correctly) the name of the board in the A-board. The input board. If its under warranty, then you may want to call for service.

Sony KPR-53EXR15 pictures fades in and out

Sounds like possibly it could be connection related between any AV/Cable ports. Worst case would be the capacitors of the motherboard leaking. It's possible to fix anything. Just make sure you have the knowledge and the right equipment.

My pc monitor is going faded , it clear after 20-30 minute, , when i start it it become faded . nothing is seen on screen . screen is going so bright and text is not understandable , and after 20-30 minute...

I'm affraid that this is not a software issue but a hardware one.

If you're not a tech expert all you can do is check the plugs and cables for damage but I seriously doubt that it would help.

The best thing you can do is either go to a service center (and pay for repairs) or buy a new monitor (and pay for a new monitor)

    Sorry and best of luck

I have a rca hd56w66, my screen shuts off but the audio still stays on. For a few days, it started fading to orange and then to green and then out to black. After about a minute, the picture would come...

Sounds like you lost the power supply to guns, now this doen't mean you have to go looking for it, you will need a repair person to fix it. Word of advise, if you haven't had one of these fixed before it can range in upwards of 600.00 or more to fix now days.

    No Raster, but sound works

sounds like vertical deflection has caused the tubes to go into blanking. Do you still have on screen displays? Try resoldering the vertical output IC. If that doesnt help the vertical output may be defective.
