SOURCE: Have old Mickey Mouse self winding watch. Bought

I will explain from the last question asked. To get it going you have to visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask for estimate. Shop owner told you things he/she do not understand at all - self winding watches CAN NOT BE OVERWOUND, so, there is the question: are you sure this watch is self winding? I've experience of 26 years of watchmaking and have never came across Mickey Mouse watches having self winding movements. As far as I know, all MM watches are battery driven, but in case if you really have the mechanical one - you are lucky. That means there were past times when those watches were fitted with mechanical movements and now they are rarities. Even if your watch is not self winding, but is mechanical (not battery driven), visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask to check this watch out. In case if it is mechanical - pay the money and get it fixed (you will be a winner anyway). If it is battery driven - put it on your shelf where your's mother in law picture is and treat it accordingly. Rate me , plz.

You may need to have a local jeweler who has a watch press to put it back on, If you put to much pressure on the inside of the back, it may be warped. A knowledgeable jeweler should be able to fix that issue also.

Try to find a watch repair shop (sometimes called clock & watch shops). Also, many jewelers replace batteries and do watch repair.

My gold Mickey mouse Lorus watch was opened a part damaged by the person replacing the battery. This is not a digital watch, but has nthe mouse with hands and a second wheel at bottom.

You are probably going to have to look for an identical watch for parts. You might try this site:
http://www.esslinger.com/watchparts.aspx?gclid=COCr3t2F9KUCFcIKKgodgiARnA which is parts for watches. I'd have a look on ebay as well for a watch that is not working. Of course it does depend on the part you are looking for. I am also wondering if the inner parts for another Lorus mickey moue watch might fit, but maybe you don;t wish to change it out from the original.

Need to get watch repaired can you help me find a place to repair it

mcdevito75 here, It would depend on what is wrong with your Mickey Musical watch. I am in the repair service directory at the bottom of this page, I am Mike at the RITE TIME BASICS in Florida and I do some work on the 40"s, 70"s and 80"s Mickey watches. Or you try to look for a small watch repair shop in your area and have them take a look at your Mickey watch.

I have a Ingeroll Mickey Mouse pocket watch. The

As you can see by the serial number these watches has been manufactured in vast numbers. I can't give exact date when the watch was manufactured, but it was definitely in 1960-1970-ies. Some watch manufacturers still do produce editions of M. Mouse themed watches, but now they are not in trend, so, not too many people buys them. Worthiness of your watch can be given if the experienced watchmaker/watch dealer see it in the flesh, as there are too many things to be considered: type of movement, overall looks, time keeping, even the type of picture of M. Mouse. All I can say is: do not expect a fortune. The best way for you is to make evaluation of the watch and then put it on specific watch/clock auction. Rate me,plz.
