The display keeps reading OUT OF RANGE even though it is standing in the same place I have had it for months

Best bet is to start by replacing the battery. At 8 months it'll be due for one soon anyway and a new battery may "reboot" it so it runs again. As a battery wears out it doesn't just stop, it may still maintain the display even though it stops keeping time. Also, new "e-ink" displays require no power to maintain the display 0 only to change it.

Might me a bad oven temp. Sensor.

an electric range needs 220 volts for top burners and oven to work,if getting only 110 volt the display or clock will work.the most common problem i've found with your curcumstances is a burn't wire where the cord attaches to the range or if hard wired still the same place.pull out your range and inspect all wiring where range connects to house and where house connects to range.if ok take a volt meter and meaurse voltage there at cord area .if not 220 volt reading problem will be with the house.if yes 220 volts will need to trace out the range .then the problem at a place the cook top burners and the oven have in common,wire path wise.

The handsets are reading out of range because they have lost connection with the base. This happens mostly during peak power demands or power outages, but can also happen when the phone is unplugged for any amount of time. This can also cause, at times, the answering machine to stop picking up calls. To remedy this issue, reset the phone system. Please follow the instructions below:
To reset the phone:
1. Disconnect the power adapter, phone line, and remove all batteries from the base and all handsets. Leave it disconnected for 30 seconds to reset the base.
2. Place the batteries in the handsets first and then plug in the power adapter and phone line. Do not place the batteries back in the base yet.
3. Put the handset in the charge cradle.
4. It may take up to 1 minute for the "Out of Range" to clear from the display.
5. Once the "Out of Range" is cleared from the handset place the back up batteries back into the base.

SET DATE AND TIME DISPLAY Should it become necessary to correct the date and time displayed on all of the keysets, due of time change (twice a year), you must first access the customer programs.
To access customer programs, open system programming using the passcode you have been assigned. (Default passcode is 1234). You must use a (display phone) LCD 12B or LCD 24B keyset. ENABLE CUSTOMER PROGRAMMING While on-hook, press TRSF and dial 200. he display shows. ENABLE CUS. PROG.
PASSCODE: Dial the four digit passcode. The display shows: ENABLE CUS. PROG.
DISABLE Dial 1 or press the ▲ on the Volume to enable. The display shows: ENABLE CUS. PROG.
ENABLE Press TRSF. The keyset returns to its idle condition.
The display format is the following:
W (Day of the week): Enter 0 for Sunday and 6 for Saturday.
MM (Month): Enter 01 for January and 12 for December.
DD (Day of the month): Enter a number in the range of 01-31
YY (Year): Enter the last two digits of the year.
HH (Hours): Use the 24 hour clock and enter a number in the range of 00-24.
MM (Minutes): Enter a number in the range of 00-59. SETTING THE DATE AND TIME 1. Press TRSF and then dial the 505. The display shows: OLD: 1102802:0852
NEW: WMMDDYY:HHMM 2. Enter the new time and date using the above format: OLD: 1102802:0852
NEW: 1102802:0752 3. Verify the time and date and reenter them if necessary OLD: 1102802:0752
NEW: WMMDDYY:HHMM 4. Press TRSF to store and exit programming.
If you have entered invalid data, you will receive an [INVALID ENTRY] message for three seconds. Reenter the correct date and time. If the information you entered is incorrect, repeat steps 1 through 4.
