Can this model be repaired when the warranty is gone

Turns on for a second and video gone correct? You did not leave a model number, but I already know the solution. A Repair for this is on You tube........but it is not an easy fix. LEDs in this TV need replaced. I have repaired many of these under warranty. A panel (TV Screen) replacement is the only fix...and can be costly out of pocket. If it is under warranty, get it sent in for repair. If not, and if it is an inexpensive model, replace it. The computer module is gone...

If you were to think the other way why not try and scrap the set for the value of the mother boards and put in this amount to go in for a new TV with added features.
So take an estimate with your repair man if you can fetch a price while you check out the models and cost of the present models.... many of which are priced lower and comes with warranty.

It sounds like the read head has gone bad. Not worth repairing. The repair cost will most likely exceed the replacement cost. You could ask a repair shop if they could fix it as a donation...

all microwaves have a magenetron which produces the heat. if this is gone and it is not under warranty, it is not cost effective to repair. check you manual, most mag's have a 3 - 5 year warranty.

Any HVAC service can repair this unit under warranty for parts. A labor charge will apply.

If your lcd is cracked, your warranty is gone. It doesn't matter if it is accident or not, because it is user fault. Unless you have 3 year total warranty from acer, they will repair it.

I suspect that your backlight has gone out. If you shine a light on the screen can you see remnants of the picture that should be displaying? If so, it's definitely the backlight, and most likely the power inverter for the backlight. You can probably find a replacement inverter, but you may need a repair manual to install it. I'd recommend checking the warranty status first and sending it in for repair if you can.

Send out for repair or replace camera if not under warranty.
Main Processing Unit has gone south. This happened to me twice in 16 months. First repair was within warranty. Out of warranty repair costs more than camera's purchase price
