Location of thermostate for 1997 acura cl 3.0

The thermostat valve is located on the intake manifold either at the end of upper or lower radiator hose. The thermostat can be removed by removing the hosing which is attached by two bolts.
The presence of the thermostat can easily be determined by removing the hose pipe and inserting a center finger into the hole. (Be sure that the engine is at room temperature to avoid finger burning).

How do you make wall sockets safe for young kids? My toddler keeps sticking his fingers into the socket.

Most plug covers have been designed in a way with safety shutters that stops kids from accessing the live terminals. But just to be sure, you can buy plastic plug covers that can be plugged into the socket. They cover all the holes and are very difficult to remove with child hands. When you're ready to use that plug socket you just remove the plastic cover.

Ecoquest Flair Air Purifier leaves black residue on walls and...

Hi there,

The black residue is what is in your air. The reason for it to cling to the walls is the Ionization process that the machine creates. The ionization is to create a clean breathing space, free from contaminants. All particles floating in the air will be negatively charged and cling to each other or to objects in the room (like walls) that are positively charged.

If you cook, there is some smoke created, or when you burn candles. These greasy particles will stick to the wall or to surfaces. Cleaning them up regularly might help. You can also try another product from EcoQuest called EcoH which is based on enzymes and cut through that grime easily. That might take the black stuff off the walls.

The router for my wireless is upstairs in my bedroom, which is fine if i want to sit in my room, and use my laptop. but if i try to connect in the living room, it doesn't pick up the network ???? I have...

you can try a couple of things...

  1. get an external antenna to boost signal strength
  2. ensure you are not sharing a channel with someon else causing interferance and degrading your signal. download NETSTUMBLER and scan for vacant channels.
  3. ensure cordless phones are not near router antenna as they often share similar frequencies causing interference
  4. move router if possible to get a "clearer" path - try to put it somewhere that reduces the number of walls etc between it and where you want to work on the laptop
BTW - I have an external antenna and I cover my 3600 sqft house easily

Installation

Kyanne: Follow this steps to do your installation: 1. Locate your installation place (Living, dinning, family room, etc.) 2. Check power outlet source to be close to the unit. 3. Make sure that behind the wall you're going to make the hole there's no plimbing or electrical connections. 4. Make the hole on the wall as precise as the dimensions of the extrior frame of your AC. 5. Insert unit in place and secure it with brackets. 6. If hole is bigger than expected, there's always some harmonic plastic covers for the sides. If the gap is in lower and upper part use some duct tape and paint it with similar color of wall to cover imperfections. 7. Connect AC to power outlet. This is something in general, ok? But if you intend to do it anyway, please use protective equipment for your own safety like gloves, safety glasess, etc. SithPitt
