Duet sport washer and dryer sticker with words falling off .. need new ones .. I only can find the control panel n it's $200 for washer n $139 for dryer . Kinda expensive for the . film .sticker overlay or whatever it's called falling off . Yes it's older but it's been peeling 6 months after purchase .. I have read many ppl have this issue so it's obvious not operater error .. point being I need them ....

you have a blown fuse if you remove the front lower cover you will see a white long fuse about 2 inch long it is bad after you put the new one on it will work but you need to keep the front off and turn on the dryer and look at the heater and see if it is lighting up red all over if not the heater needs to be replace it is shorted out and that is what made the fuse blow

check inside, white fuse should be near air flow . also near themo couplers, take volt meter ,place on continutee, first unplug unit. remove one ,of the two wire's. check to make sure circutt is closed ... if not rplace fuse.

This advise is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet front loader washers and dryers with a Control Lock problem.

This may or may not be an indication of a serious problem. In the majority of the cases, this is a simple operator error. Nearly all these model appliances have some sort of Control Lock feature on the front panel now. This is a designed safety feature that is used to prevent small children from manipulating the controls. The controls can be easily locked or unlocked by pressing and holding the following button on the front panel:

Whirlpool Duet Washer - Press and hold the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds.

Whirlpool Duet Dryer - Press and hold the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds.

Kenmore Elite Washer - Press and hold the DRAIN/SPIN button for 3 seconds.

Kenmore Elite Dryer - Press and hold the AUTO DRY LEVEL button for 3 seconds.

These instructions may not be all inclusive for all Kenmore and Whirlpool models, but they are the most common. Chances are, if you have a Control Lock feature, the instructions will be printed on the front panel adjacent to the button that is required to lock or unlock the controls.

NOTE: These instructions may also work for newer model Maytag, Hotpoint, Admiral and Fridgidaire model front loaders as well. Refer to your owner's manual or front panel for instructions pertaining to your sepcific model.

If the Control Lock feature will not lock or unlock the appliance, unplugging the unit for AT LEAST 30 minutes is recommended in order to reset the main control board. In many cases this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches.

Tilt the washer back and support it with wood blocks so you can remove the kick panel screws and get the tech sheet from inside.

F/01 is an EEPROM error on the CCU. A power glitch may cause this error; unplug washer or disconnect power for two minutes. If broken, then you'll need a new CCU-- not a rare event on this washer.

The wires should be color coded with a stripe on one or the other reconnect them with the dryer unplugged then plug the dryer in to see if the door will unlock. If it foes not then wait 5 minutes for it to cycle then try.

if you want to replace your washer you need to talk to lowe's store manager nobody else he or she will replace your unit. other wise you call for service. i think your washer need new main control board. good luck.

you need to change your orfice or you will have a big problem with flame
