Dyson will supply parts but don't provide manuals to their appliances (in the UK) but provide a fixed price repair service at a price they consider reasonable (I don't).
Dyson vacs are designed to manufacture as cheaply as possible, they aren't designed for easy repair or replacement of components. I haven't much experience of Dyson but the little I do have has taught me patience and a devious mind are prime requisites to dismantle...

The dyson.com website had a solution for this particular problem. Just press in a button in the area around the right wheel while lifting the rear of the vacuum up. This allows the base to roll forward enough to go back into the upright position. I did this and it worked. All fixed.

solved this today by folding the upright part back as far as it would go, and wiggling it a little. It clicked back into place.

Same problem here. We noticed a loss of suction for about 5 minutes and the suction stopped. Beater bar still rotates but ZERO suction.

Sure, on the side of the machine you will have a knob, you can use this to tuirn the brushbar off and have suction only.
