I need a new Sharp print wheel. 270-046 Simplicity 1012 where can I find one please?

Please note, Simplicity has gone out of business and the Simplicity Bassinets should NOT be used. They were sold at Walmart, Target and BabiesRUs. The word on the street is that Walmart is the easiest to deal with when it comes to returning them. Those who wish to return Simplicity cribs don't need a receipt, they can just take them to Walmart for store credit. BabiesRUs was apparently giving about $65 while Walmart was closer to $190. Again, this is just what I have heard from others.

I would pack it up, take it in for store credit, and get a new crib!

You can get some great deals these days on bassinets, there's a great one on Amazon for $130 so it's kind of a no-brainer. Here's one of the top rated:

As I have heard, Walmart will take it back, no questions asked and no receipt necessary and you can get a brand new one with brand new parts, brand new instructions and no recalls or risks!

try cleaning your heads.

Actually, you are correct.

This is a drum issue. Perhaps the drum needs to be cleaned (A soft cotton cloth may help). If the lines are vertical, it's possible that the drum was scratched and may need replacement.

First, I would be very cautious. Several of these cribs were recalled. You can check the Consumer Products Safety Commission to see if your crib was involved.

Secondly, this company went out of business and I was unable to contact anyone about ordering parts or manuals. Unfortunately the new company that bought them, isn't taking responsiblity for any Products from the original Manufacturer.

You can also try taking the wheel to your Home Depot or Ace Hardware or store like this. They may have something else that will work for you.
