Hello, sounds like you might just need to sync them to the console again. Even if you did nothing, they randomly lose sync now and then. Even some updates cause them to lose sync with the Wii. All you have to do is : 1) Hold down the sync button on the Wii console for 15 seconds or so. This completely resets the sync on all remotes. 2) Sync the remote again by pushing the sync button on the inside of the battery cover while the Wii is on, then pushing the sync button on the console again. hi have you changed the batteries in the remote, if the remote is ok there's a fault with the tv, could be a swollen capacitors shorted diode or poor solder joint,or a bad mainboard , thanks
The horizontal line indicates the vertical deflection circuit is not working. Either the set is stuck in service mode for adjusting color (turns off vertical), or the deflection circuit has failed.
Some RCA TV sets have a "Service" switch in the back, down near the bottom of the set. Most of the newer sets use a combination of remote control and front panel buttons to get into service mode, and that can be turned off by unplugging the set and plugging it back in. Try looking for the mechanically operated service switch in the back first.

It has to reset everything.then try remote,when it starts to work,set new pin code.use your instruction book,to set all blocks to N,,Clear all favorite channels + erase channels in tv 's memory if there in there yet,takes a lot of time.it will keep resetting,remote won't work.let it run awhile. then push exit, hold 5 to 10 seconds remote will eventually come back,check your settings reset them, be sure menu is set to STOP, it may start running threw all its modes again,let run couple hrs, then push exit 5 to 10 seconds to get your remote back.keep trying this. when you think the tv is working right,turn it off for 10 seconds then back on. If it starts resetting, let it run an hr,then push exit again to get your remote back,it has to reset everything,keep trying, took me 3DAYS to get it right!!!!!!!!! the only thing I don't have working is the pic size button,Don't need that anyway. From your post I understand that the tv is not turning on even if you use the button on tv, if that is the case there is nothing wrong with the remote control, and from the blinking light shows that there is something wrong with the tv. Get it checked by a qualified service guy.
It sounds as though the TVs in a demo mode. Has someone recently been over and was playing with the remote. If so go into the menu of the tV set and look for set up and demo mode. Turn off the demo mode. if this doesent help call i-866-427-3946 and talk to the customer service deptartment. Good Luck
