Looking for a Universal Remote to use for Daytek air conditioner . Will the KT4000 or CS6000 work?

- check if the battery is still good
- check if the receiver of the unit is clean and no obstruction.
- Some of remote control have a reset switch, every time you change it with battery you have to reset it.
- Some of remote control have A and B selector at board and remote control, check this if they set at the same frequency.
- To check if the remote control still working you have to test your remote control to other unit with same model as yours. If its not working then replace your remote control. But if its working then you have to replace your receiver board.
- Some remote control have to be reconfigure so you have to read your manual.

Well I finally got an answer from Daytek. It's not what I wanted to hear, but thought I'd share it in case someone else runs into the same issue.

"I am sorry to inform you that there’s no dedicated universal remote code for Daytek models. However, you can try the code for MTC on our unit and see if it works."

To find out the code for future reference read the section below Searching for your code.

Follow the instructions and yoru tv and remote should be up and running in no time.

I can help you with your URC-3021 Universal Remote Control issues.

I do not see a listing for Daytek TVs in the Urc-3021 Code List.

Please try the codes for Daewoo TVs.
The codes for Daewoo TV's are: 0451, 1661, 0092, 0672, & 0623.

I purchased a universal remote CHUNGHOP K-1028E on ebay for this unit but the bad news is it only does basic functions and its in Celius.
Functions that work
On/off
heat
cool
wind/fan speed
mode
Led light
3 flap settings

code is 348 and 453

I also have a harmony one remote and tried learning the original remote functions but doesn't really work properly
