Registration takes place on either the seller's website or the brand's website. Try googling the brand name "home page" plus "registration." If there was a registration card that came with the kettle, you might use that. Keep your receipt. If there was a box with it, there may be a product number on the box that you may need for the registration.
Many Kenmore appliances are made by Whirlpool. If it does not allow you to register please provide your complete model number and I will direct you to the applicable site for product registration.
Warranty for Kitchenaid appliances is one year from the date of purchase. Their is way to submit "warranty" for it, only registration. Registration is only done for safety purposes - for example, so you may be contacted in the event of a recall on your particular appliance.
Registration may be completed at www.kitchenaid.com, underneath the Customer Care tab in the upper-right hand corner of the main page.
Warranty is best proven with a dated sales receipt. It is recommended you have it kept at all times in case it is requested to verify your date of purchase.
