Is this a custom instal? If yes, Check that the amps are powering up. You may need to check the fuse for the amps or the remote wire fuse. It could have blown hooking up the new battery. If there are no amplifiers check both fuses for the Alpine deck unit.

SOURCE: radio shows on but no sound to speakers

I flooded my Eclipse and the AMP is under the passenger seat. Might have got wet and ruined it. They are expensive from the dealership ($900). Try a junk yard.

Alpine ine-s920hd keeps shutting off after a few minutes of starting the truck and i also noticed my backup camera is really dark. Help.

If your Alpine INE-S920HD head unit keeps shutting off after a few minutes of starting the truck and your backup camera appears dark, it could indicate a power or wiring issue. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
Check the power connections: Ensure that the head unit's power and ground connections are secure and properly connected. Make sure there are no loose or damaged wires. Check the fuse for the head unit to ensure it is not blown.
Verify the power source: Confirm that the power source you are using for the head unit is stable and providing sufficient voltage. Consider checking the vehicle's battery and alternator to ensure they are in good working condition.
Inspect the wiring for the backup camera: Check the wiring connections for the backup camera, including the power and video cables. Ensure that they are securely connected and not damaged. A loose or faulty connection could cause the camera to appear dark.
Adjust camera settings: The dark image from the backup camera could also be due to incorrect camera settings. Check the settings menu on the head unit to adjust the brightness, contrast, or other image-related settings for the backup camera.
Reset the head unit: Perform a factory reset on the Alpine INE-S920HD head unit. Refer to the user manual or contact Alpine customer support for specific instructions on how to reset the head unit.

Everything IS WORKING EXCEPT THE BACK UP CAMERA AND RADIO. The Camera stopped working shortly before the radio quit working. Are the 2 problems related?

Could be, but not likely. The back up camera gets power when the car goes into reverse. As soon as video is present, the screen switches so you see the camera. The radio has fuses for the light that connects to the instrument cluster light dimmer. Another gets connected to the ignition switch run wire so the radio goes on and off with the ignition switch. The last fuse goes to a wire that has voltage on it all the time. This is what keeps the radio station memory alive when the radio is off with the key. Locate those fuses in the harness on the radio to see if one is blown.

Stations on radio will not set

A car radio needs two sources of power. A little bit of 12 volt all the time and more power when you want to hear the music. Also known as battery(all the time) and ignition (when the "power" is on). It might be a bad connection on battery power or it wasn't connected right. Battery power is needed to keep the presets and the clock setting.
