In my experience if it is the exact same medication (ex. Claritin or Loratadine if generic) it is ok if that is the same make-up. If not they have to say something in case of side effects. There are sometimes several manufacturers for the same medications just like plastic forks. So the shape maybe slightly different but are the same.

Prescription Medication verifcation!

You have to trust your pharmacist to correctly fill the bottle to match the printed label on the container.
If you have reason to believe there is a mistake, take it to another pharmacist to ask if it looks correct. (Go to a different store, but preferably the same company, it's easier to match things up that way)

Does oxycodone 15mg come in a white oval scored down the middle with 15 on one side and I think RP or R something on the other side. My pills r usually round and pale green with 15 on them. o

I cannot find anything close to that description that matches oxycodone. Check with your pharmacist (or dealer) to make sure you got the real thing.

When wil i get my medication

Your medicine? Was it a prescription that your doctor wrote and you had to physically take it to the pharmacist yourself or did your doctor say the prescription would be faxed or called in? Most doctors are faxing prescription in to whatever pharmacist you told him or her that you use. If that's the case, you need to call your pharmacist and give them your name and sometimes your date of birth, to have them check to see if your prescription has been received and if they have filled it. Some pharmacies actually deliver customers meds to them, not all pharmacies offer this service. I hope this helped.

I am having a problem finding whether or not Amanatadine can be taken at the same time as Methadone. Is it dangerous? What are the interaction side affects?

Diane, call your prescribing doctor, local pharmacist, hospital, or even a university-pharmacy school. Methadone is a very powerful (schedule II narcotic- opiate) that has its own serious side-effects if not taken properly, let alone when mixed with other drug medications. Usually a person who is prescribed methadone must be weaned off this narcotic slowly / gradually. Serious withdrawals can occur.

The big concern with any combination of drugs, are their interactions with other drugs... like Amantadine. it can affect the efficacy of the drugs in the blood stream- either increasing or decreasing the dosages of either or.

I am not a pharmacist, chemist, or any other type of medical professional- and I am certainly not trying to pretend to be one.

But please, by all means contact one who is... and can give you a definitive and proper answer!
