Hi my friend has issues with her iPad when she make a FaceTime call she can't hear the ringtone why ??

1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Scroll down and tap FaceTime.
3. If you're not signed into FaceTime with your Apple ID, tap Use your Apple ID for FaceTime, then tap Sign In, or tap Use Other Apple ID and enter the credentials that you want to use.
4. Tap on the checkmark to the left of the email address(es) that you want to de-register with FaceTime.
5. Conversely, tap the email address(es) that you do want to register with FaceTime so that a checkmark appears.

fixya can not face time anybody.

Time zone fixed this for me. I was having issues logging into Twitter account on iPad mini and directed me to set my time zone. Once I set the Time Zone to Set Automatically Twitter, iMessage and FaceTime worked.

Did the following:

• Go to Privacy
• Location Services
• System Services
• Turn on "Setting Time Zone"
• Go to General
• Select Date/Time
• Turn on Time zone "set automatically"

FaceTime is not a Facebook issue.its apples version of Skype.you can use it free if you call anyone anywhere in the world with an iPhone with FaceTime app.

Why do you need Skype since you have FaceTime?

Make sure person contacts to your phone number and uncheck that phone number on your ipad, by going to settings facetime.

FaceTime is a standard app for the iPad. That is for those who work with iOS7 and up.
Just swipe down on the scene to search and type FaceTime.
The app will open. Not on the iPad 1 or on this you did not upgrade.

Only those contact who have an iPhone with FaceTime turned on, and/or iPads and Mac that have FaceTime will actually show as FaceTime enabled ...
