Hello I have a Sanyo 32" tv. Serial code.CE32LD47-B. In order to turn the television on, we need to repeatedly press the power button either on the remote or the tv. Eventually, it does turn on. The attempts can take up to 50 times with a single blink of the standby light between every attempt. And then it turns on. However, there have been times when we've had to unplug the tv in order to continue our efforts to turn on the tv because the television standby light blinks continously without stopping. I've got the feeling based on my own internet searches for this issue that it's the main board which needs replacing but I'm not sure. I don't want the replace the whole tv as that is a waste. Can anyone help? Can anyone help?

SOURCE: Sony Wega 40" TV will not turn on, standby light blinks 6 times repeatedly

Hello,For model KV-40XBR800,

Pls check following area.

Low HV Shutdown:
On the D Board.
Check IC8004/pin 7 should be 7.4v.
Check IC8006/pin 2 should be 2.5v if lower will trigger shutdown by causing pin 1 to turn on.
Check IC8006/pin 3 reference voltage 2.2v.
IC8006/pin 1 normally at 0v. If high
turns D5007 ON which turns the latch circuit Q6532,
Q6530, and Q6527 ON and turns the AC relay RY6501 OFF.

And NOTE: 6 blinks also can be Low B+ protection.

Unregulated 7.5 v from the power supply to 5v reg IC504 on the A Board. 5v to M Board Q2314

to CPU IC2300/pin 43. If 5v missing set will shutdown with 6 blinks.

I need the steps to program the urc4021 remote, as well as the code for the sanyo tv

To program the One-For-All URC4021, first turn on the TV manually (or with the original remote). Press the TV button on the URC4021 once. Then press and hold the Set button until the LED blinks twice. Now you can enter a code directly and test it. For Sanyo TVs, the only programmed code is 0154 . If the LED blinks twice, press Power to attempt to turn off the TV. If that works, you can turn the TV on again and test if the other buttons on the remote work with your TV. If the LED doesn't blink twice, repeat the steps from pressing and holding Set. (If you wait too long before entering the code, the remote will leave the programming mode.)

The URC4021 has a code search mode. Press and hold Set until the LED blinks twice, then press 9 9 1 . If the LED blinks twice again, alternate between pressing the Power and TV buttons until the TV turns off. Then press Set to lock in that code and test the remote again.

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(Note: if your TV is newer than the remote or released within 6 months of the remote being programmed, this code may not work. The URC4021 documentation gives March, 2004 as the copyright date. That suggests that the codes may not work with devices built in 2004 or later.)

I can turn on my haier tv with a dish network remote.I need a code for it when it off from the buton I can not turn it back on with the button

Hello! I recommend that you try a programming method called a Power Scan this will allow you to search for a code and try the functions as you go. If you only receive partial functionality please repeat steps 2 and 3 until you find the code that works. If there is no functional code the TV button will flash rapidly.
Power Scan
1.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, then press 500 pound ( #)
2.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, press the big power button once.
3.) Press the channel up button once per second until the TV turns off then press pound (#).

Need codes to program a dishnet remote to a emerson tv

Turn on device you want to control (TV, VCR, DVD)

Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the red indicator light remains red, then release

Press the desired mode button (TV, VCR, DVD) and release

Press the POWER button slowly, but repeatedly
until device turns off. While doing this, the red indicator blinks then stays lit

Once the device turns off, press and release the Enter button to install code. The remote should be synced to the device.

Another view:
Someone on another board pointed out that with some newer models you do not need to press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly. Rather, you press it only ONCE, and the device will cycle through all the code possibilities. When the TV turns off, it means that the proper code has been found. Immediately press the Enter button to install that proper code. This method (and no other) worked for me.
