I have an Edenpure model #1000XL. It started beeping constantly & will not turn on. Can you tell me what the problem is?

That looks like 1970s or 80s. Contact the company direct. Details are at the bottom of the page.

If it is the model with a humidifier, it may be that which is working and not the main heating element. I suspect the element my have failed.

Seems so be a ceramic element that glows more on the left that the right side. It may be worth swapping out the Heat Sensor for a new one.

The beeping may actually be your pc attempting to tell you something. Count the number of beeps, and then search for your machine make, model, and number of beeps. Also, are any of the lights on the front of the machine flashing. Check to see if the flashing is constant, or if there is a pattern.

The Edenpure Gen4 and US-1000 have a set of 3 - 500 watt bulbs that generate the heat. You'll likely need to buy a new set of bulbs every heating season ($60) or pay an Edenpure service center $100-140 to replace them for you. (Almost imossible to get SCI to cover the the bulbs under their so-called warranty)

Unfortunately, despite the hype printed on the box and Suarez Corporation Industries advertising, those bulbs last less than 500 hours of operation in those heaters. Suarez Manufacturing Industries/Pinnacle Systems have no engineering staff nor did they perform any durability testing on the heaters or any heater components.

Thus you, as the consumer, are stuck with continually the bulbs (in the US-1000 and Gen4 at least).

You can push and hold the on button to start a self test. Or you can turn off the UPS. Unplug it from the wall. disconnect the batteries and push the on button to reset the logic. if that wont work return it.

probably not, you need to tell me more info. make, model and what paper sizes u r using etc.
