I cleaned the glass in my GE oven.

Take the door off and undo the screws holding the handle and set them aside. There were two screws in the bottom edge as well. The glass had clips to and bottom on both the inner and outer door. I removed both panes and sprayed them with Easy Off oven spray. The grime to the inner surfaces came off very easily. I cleaned the ledge that separated the glass as well. Then I rinsed them well and reassembled everything.

It is a "sealed unit", not intended to be cleaned

I believe the entire door must be removed first. then remove every screw that you can find and draw a picture where they came from. then split the door open like opening a clam. then you may find additional screws to remove the glass

To remove door:

Not sure if you still need to get your oven door off still but I have the same oven and have spent the last several hours trying to remove it and searching the web to discover how to remove it until I have just discovered a wonderful video tutorial on YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSzc4Uqbbr8
that discribes exactly how to do it (just copy and paste it into your address bar.
It is the fourth and final instruction in the video but it really is easy.
The hinge is a latching over system type that folds back into the glass apparently.
Just get a screwdriver and where the end of the hinge dissappears into the housing of the oven just flick up the hinge with the screwdriver and the locking mechanism folds back towards you and the glass.
Once both are done just jiggle and pull up the door and it will remove easily....godsend!

Regards,

SOURCE: I own a Kenmore stove model #639539J2. The glass

yes. open the oven door to the first "click". it kind of stops about a quarter of the way open. most ovens you grab both sides of the oven door and pull up. some models have a couple of screws you have to take out before you can remove the oven door. then lay it down with the insie of the door facing up and take out all the screws holding the oven door together. some may be on the sides or the top and bottom of the door. when apart, clean first with easy off, then clean several times with windex till streaks are gone. assemble door in reverse and put back on stove.

How to clean between the glass on my oven doors, do you remove the doors or what & how do the doors come off

Most ovens...

(use of "TYPICAL"...
means no make/mode ... year provided
(TYPICALLY used for useful/meaningful answers))

Check the hinges st the door for a lift tab assembly...

Poor preparation & mishandling usually RESULTS in
droppingbreaking one or BOTH of the Window glasses...

If you are going to DISMANTLE without the aide
of OWNERS/SERVICE manuals...

Skip over the taking apart... dropping...
breaking... and JUST go ONLINE to attempt
to find crystal clear/clean REPLACEMENT parts...

With LUCK you will TYPICALLY find only
the INSIDE GLASS replacement...

IF available... (not likely) you will find they are
unreasonably EXPENSIVE...

>> NOW you are ready to disconnect
the DOOR HINGES...

So... FIRST REAL STEP:
- Clean the oven (
see owner's manual).
- Put a drop-cloth on the family room carpet
- Remove the door /(at the hinges)...
- move the door close to the floor...
- Disassemble DOOR on the drop cloth...!!

NOW you are ready to disconnect
the DOOR HINGES...
Treat the GLASS as a precious commodity...
Clean with 1/5 (foo-grade) white vinegar 4/5
water & 4 - 5 drops of DAWN dish detergent.

Polished wit BAKING SODA with water...

Wear rubber gloves to leave no greasy
FINGER-PRINTS,

You will be proud...
(albeit much-much happier giving makes & models)

How can I clean the inside of the glass on a Lamont 3400 oven door

Hello, Johnny -

The instructions I found for cleaning the glass inside an oven door are generic and not just for a Lamona brand oven. (You did mean "Lamona" and not "Lamont", didn't you?)

See the instructions here:
https://www.mom4real.com/how-to-clean-in-between-glass-on-your/
Read through the instructions, in full, first.

This is a link to other instructions in video format:

Best wishes.

Frigidaire Self Cleaning Electric Oven - Inner glass shattered, need part and instructions for door

It isn't that tough to change the glass assembly. Most of the Frigidaire have 4 screws that hold the front of the door to the inner part- sandwiching the glass in between. It is only sold as a unit- 2 glass pieces, assembled with an aluminum frame. Call All brands Appliance parts at 508-587-7100 and they'll get the part out to you. (Tell them Greasy Wheels sent ya, they'll take good care of you.) The most common reason the glass breaks, is a scratch in the glass. Sometimes it's just a dragged pan, other times it's from cleaning it with a sharp instrument. Don't do that....
