I.ve got an LG KU990I.. how do i transfer files to my pc as i haven't got a port for a USB cable. my computer doesn't have bluetooth... also i keep trying to set my memory card as my primary storage but it don't stay at that... i don't know what i'm doing wrong... can you plz help? ty

Be cartain that the LG file transfer setting is on external (memory card),

Save your files.

Remove the memory card from the LG and place it into your PCs SD memory card reader. If your PC's card slot is not the same as your memory card, purchase a memory case/converter, place your memory card in the case and put in your PC.

If your PC does not have a SD memory card reader, the only other choice is to find a PC with a reader and copy the files to that PC and Email the files to yourself. Yes ... very cumbersome.

    Another option (found this on Yahoo):

    If you want to upload and download via the internet, most Viewty's will not work
    on the "Mass Storage" setting. This is a quirk of the phone and not a fault, as
    such. If it is on Mass Storage, disconnect it from the USB and change the USB
    connection mode to Data Service, then re-connect the phone. To change the
    setting, do the following, in sequence: press menu (the square of dots on the
    front screen), settings (the cog wheel at the bottom right), phone settings,
    connectivity, USB connection mode, data service, select. Then press the red call
    end key to come out of that mode.

U dont need bluetooth all u need is bluetooth tongle that will solve prob

Is your Micro USB cable a "B" or "A"?Micro USB "B" is for data/charging.
Micro USB "A" is for charging only and will not work for any kind of data transfer (pins not connected).
The connector will be labeled at the micro usb end.
When you plug the cable into your phone a popup will ask you if you want to connect to mass storage. Once you answer yes, you can connect to the phone just like a usb drive.

You're right, some of the LG 290 users reported that even using the right USB data transfer cable the computer ALWAYS searched for the right driver to establish the connection but never succeeded.
As in your case - it was about a missing driver.
But now I will show you a LITTLE-BIG SECRET about the data transfer via Bluetooth. Sure, I know - the LG 290 doesn't allow such operation via Bluetooth.
But this is how I mad it possible:
# go to MENU > SETTINGS > BLUETOOTH > POWER > OFF > OK
# press END now
# you're on the MAIN SCREEN; dial ##7764726290 and SEND
# enter 000000 > OK
# go on BLUETOOTH SETTINGS > OK
# if the server [FTP] is underlined/highlighted > OK
# YES > OK
# ON > OK
So from now on you will be able to transfer data to/from PC via Bluetooth by using Bluesoleil application.
I've found this trick quite a while ago on howardforums.com [... if I'm not wrong].

To transfer stuff from Lg ku990i to your computer, Download its PC suit. By connecting your cell through PC suit. You can easily transfer your stuff to the computer
Downloading will automatically start after clicking on it. Download it then extract the files & install it on your PC.
If downloading is not start automatically the folloe the direct web link to download it, In this case
"click here"

Can't send pictures from LG Accolade (VX5600) cell phone to a PC.

I cannot get music onto my phone
In case there is no USB port, you may use the bluetooth dongle on your computer to transfer the files or you can also use a memory ard reader and insert your memory card in it, connect it to your computer and transfer the files.

How to download music to Lg 260
There are several ways and options to do that:

A.With the use of Data cable
