Don't replace anything, Vizio has issued a lifetime warranty for this set because of this problem. No joke, call the customer service line and tell them you got the pop of death. They'll send someone out to 'repair' the set free of charge. If they can't fix it they'll give you a new one. Even if your mfg purchase warranty has expired. Call them and post the results. I've been fixing TV's longer than I care to admit and this is the first time I've actually seen a company stand behind their products like this. I bought a broken tv with the intent of fixing it and after replacing almost every board I could only manage to get the vertical racing stripe line, except mine was purple. I put it all back together and called to find out if there was a recall on this set and within 5 minutes the (Actual English speaking) gentleman told me to sit tight and he'd have a repairman come and do his thing. He did, and long story short, he couldn't fix it. Last week they delivered a new TV to replace this one. I was shocked. I think Vizio will have all my future business.
Good luck.

I currently got a broken 65" vizio tv and took it upon myself to fix it. The tv turns on but im not getting any picture the only thing i get is a dim glow from the screen. Can anyone help me out?

You said "used flash light method" but never said if you could see a anything on the screen, if you can it's a backlight issue but unfortunately this model set is VERY hard troubleshoot and find out what the issue is as it has local dimming

Vizio (E65-E0 & #: LAUSVKAS3702629) 65 inches TV when turned on screen flickers for 3 seconds with white horizontal lines then goes black despite Vizio's trobleshoot atempt. I need to knw the part.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the sites linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary. /

Picture blinks in and out every few seconds

The lines in the picture and the blinking makes me think maybe the digital / logic board is going bad.. you will need a tech to resolve this and it will be expensive.. In time you will loss the picture altogether as the board will get worse.
