I have an LG Plasma TV Model 50BP560B 50. The HDMI port no longer works no signal and there is only one of them. I can't seem to find a main board for that TV anywhere. Any ideas of what to do?

It will most likely go away when you fix the board. I suspect there is a logic system in there looking for that port and is not finding it.

Try a different HDMI cable, then try the other HDMI inputs on the TV, then try to connect another HDMI device to the TV. If all are still bad main board needs replaced

need the model number to assist but it sounds like a main board issue if you have one of the panasonic plasma models that have the inputs all on the main board. You can get main boards for most models at www.tvrepairworld.com

Sounds like you have a bad input board and it is only time before you lose three. If it is under warranty get it in otherwise start tracking down the part. Most of these are a plug and play device once the tv is apart.

You will need to replace the main video logic board, its part number is either EBU60852909 or EBU60852911. These two board are direct replacement parts. The only solutions u can tries is to unplug tv,satellite receiver box and plug it back in like about an hour later for the tv to reset itself and the sattellite box receiver to reboot and upgrade it softwares.Than go into the tv Menu go into the video setting and reset the whole tv Tuner signal board.This solutions have great chance for all the HDMI inputs to work again.If not have the same problems,sorry than those HDMI ports on the tv Tuner signal board are shorted and dead.These HDMI ports are putting on by a wave soldering machine when they are put onto the board.These HDMI ports can't be replaced individually or buy parts for it,almost impossible to replaces parts by hand soldering equipments either.The only solution now only is to buy a whole refurbish tv Tuner for the replacement,if u have to have those HDMI inputs for your tv,can't used other inputs to handle ur tv need to functions the tv the way u wanted.U some mechanical skills,like can take thing aparts and putting it back together.Yes.Try website like Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.

No,the HDMI connections hubs are just a few small components parts that was put on by the wave soldering machine and it is on and surface mounted by soldering fussion to the tv to main tv Tuner signal board and funsction as one board,can't replaces these HDMI hubs by itself,it very hard and almost imposible to do so by hand soldering equipments and these HDMI components hubs they don't sell out as individual consumer parts any way.Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about and hour later for the tv to do a resetting itself back to the factory setting.Than go to the tv menu go to PICTURE setting go down to do a resetting to do a resetting to all the funsctions of the tv Tuner signal board.Now all ur HDMI hubs should be working again.If not,the whole Tv Tuner signal board mut be reolaced.Try website like Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish main tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.

If you have only been using one cable it may need to be replaced or the HDMI port on the television may be broken. Check the port and make sure it is clean and if it still dose not work speak with a local tv repair shop

The HDMI input along with others is located on the a/v control panel of which would have to be replaced. I haven't seen an input jack yet with a part number attached for any model. I would suggest call a service center for a diagnosis.

I have a 50 inch and recently had to have the main board replaced d/t the IR receiver was failing intermittently. Since they replaced the main board, one of the two HDMI is doing the same thing (picture, no sound). When I spoke to service they felt the issue was related to the replacement board and will be replacing. The weird thing is the picture is not quite right + no sound. Usually with HDMI it's either all OK or not OK at all. In any event, my problem seems to be the main board.
