Have been working on this for years now. I would hate to junk it for something simple. When the TV is turned on, the Lamp light in front flashes about 5 times makes the chime noise. No picture or sound. I have checked all sources for sound or picture. I See the lamp light up and the fans running. The only sound is from the fans inside the set. I have replaced the DMD board, new oem lamp and color wheel. I checked to see if all cables were properly seated.both inside the cabinet and outside as well.The set will stay lit for a couple of minutes and shut down to Standby Mode. What have I missed? I've even unplugged the set overnight so I know a clean boot occurred.

Hi,
If you look at rear, you will get lamp cover on lower right side as left side has connection jacks, remove 4 screws of lamp cover, remove it, you will see lamp inside, remove it screw and pull lamp out from tv.
Put new lamp in place, tight its screw and put back lamp cover and tight its 4 screws, job is done.

television have a problems known as a convergence problems,it is dead.Television have
colors R,G,B lines miss alignments,have shadows pictures or 3D picture
look alike?Yes the television convergence board have dead 2 STK convergence ICS
and some or all of it resistors too.These parts,must be replace on the
tv convergence board to solved the television convergence picture problems.
