Start by getting a cheap volt/ohmmeter.
Open the unit up and follow the electric path from one side of the plug back to the other side. You will quickly find where the open is.
What you find will determine what needs to be fixed.
It may cost more than buying a new one.

SOURCE: GE JVM1650 Microwave Making Loud Noise

hello Frank. Sorry to tell you that the magnetron is going bad and making that terrible noise. Since the inside of a microwave, even unplugged has up to 2000 residual and deadly volts of electricity I recommend either calling a pro or replacing the unit.

Are you using the remote? Are the batteries good. Other than that, you will need an electrician if you get nothing from it at all.

Have a melted plug on my heating stove . what causes that and what can I do

Be glad you caught that in time. The overheat or overload sensor for your electric stove-heater has failed and needs to be replaced. If it is still under warranty, Dimplex will repair or replace it at no cost. Even if it's not still under warranty, Dimplex Technical Service wants to know about this. If you live in the USA or Canada, you may call them at 888-346-7539. If you live in the UK call 0845 600 5111 and ask for Technical Service. Either Dimplex USA or Dimplex UK, can provide the part if necessary.

Do Not use your stove-heater until this is repaired.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know.

Just purchased a dimplex DS5629 electric stove. Plugged it in, but NO HEAT and NO BLOWER. Dimplex is closed for the weekend. NOW WHAT???

Ar e you sure that the receptacle your have it plugged into is working? If it is, you can try this. It usually works. Turn the Master On/Off Switch to OFF. Unplug the unit and leave unplugged to 12 - 15 minutes. Plug the unit back in and turn the Master On/Off Switch to ON. Then, turn each individual function one at a time. If they ail function as they should, the unit has reset itself.

If it doesn't work, then you'll have to wait until Monday to contact Dimplex OR you could contact the retailer you purchased it from and have them replace it immediately. That is, unless you purchased it online. Then, it would be better to wait until Monday and contact Dimplex. Be sure you have your Model Number and Proof of Purchase, when you contact them. In case you don't have it, their Technical Support number is 888-346-7539.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

My Dimplex DFB 4047 won't get very hot

This is an on going problem with electric fireplace/stove type heaters of all types. Not just Dimplex.
They are not designed to run for long periods of time and the heat output is not much more than a blower dryer. In any event, they take in cool air, heat it and send it back out. Over time, the heating element becomes clogged with dust, lint and/or pet air. So, they have to work harder to produce a sufficient amount of heat. Cleaning the heating element with a vacuum that has a hose and brush attachment may help. The heating element and blower are under the stove. See your Owners Manual on how to access it. Be sure to unplug the stove before trying to service/clean it.
