There should be no password on the BIOS by default. You need to remove the password by removing the backup battery inside the laptop case. This is NOT the main battery, but a small button-cell battery inside, mostly directly on the motherboard.

The methods to get around BIOS passwords are generally somewhat unique to the machine you have. Desktop models usually have motherboard pins that must be shorted to restore the BIOS to factory defaults. Laptops like yours often require being able to remove the CMOS battery on your motherboard while not connected to AC power or main battery. This generally requires some disassembly of your laptop, removal of the battery for some period of time (30 seconds to a minute usually works), then reinstallation of the CMOS battery. The CMOS battery is usually a coin-cell battery about the size of a nickel placed somewhere on the motherboard. It is NOT the laptop main battery. Look online for the service manual for your laptop. It will have the CMOS battery replacement instructions. If your laptop is more than a couple of years old, get a new battery and install it at the same time.

I have a CF-53. While I was in the BIOS, I had loaded the default BIOS settings. After rebooting, I realized my BIOS was now password protected!! WTH?? I called Panasonic Tech Support at 800-527-8675. The tech was VERY knowledgable, and when I explained the situation to him, he said that didn't seem normal and that Panasonic doesn't normally password protect the BIOS. On what seemed purely like a hunch, he suggested typing in "password" - Voila! It worked!!

Try typing "Biostar" in as the password. If that doesn't work, we have another option.
The first step would be to try removing the CMOS battery (the coin shaped battery inside the computer that keeps the clock working). Disconnect the laptop from any power source (AC adapter), and remove the main laptop battery. Third, you will have to remove the bottom plate of the Toughbook. Search YouTube for a disassembly video for your model of tough book. Once you've removed the bottom plate, you should be able to see the internal components. Connected to the system board by two wires will be the CMOS battery. After disconnecting the CMOS battery (carefully!), hold down the power button on the laptop for about ten seconds, then let the computer sit for a few minutes to ensure that it is completely devoid of power. You will then need to reinstall the laptop battery (the main, brick-shaped one — not the CMOS) and boot up the laptop. If all goes according to plan, you should be able to access the BIOS and turn off or remove the bios password. Now you can reassemble your Toughbook. Power off, remove the battery, reconnect the CMOS battery, and reattach the rear plate, and you're good to go!

If you need to ask "how", you should STOP and take your computer to a qualified technician, because opening-up a laptop is not an "end-user" repair.
