SOURCE: add developer in sharp AR-5316

That model uses a TD cartridge so when you replace the toner the developer is included. The crum chip on the TD cartridge will reset the counters and sets the developer.

SOURCE: Sharp Copier AR -407 Error code H3-00

H3-00 means there was a problem in the fuser unit of the copier - a temperature problem. The correct temperature is not reached within a certain time.
It could be a thermostat or thermistor problem - both monitor temperature. you could remove the fuser unit and make sure these items are clean - no build up on them. there should be a center and side thermistor.
You can reset the error code in SIM mode by pressing the following keys one after the other "P" "interupt" "C" "interupt" then 14 and start/copy key. confirm if required. make sure the copier is restarted afterwards.
If the error persists then you may need new thermistors.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: sharp copier ar-bc320 error code??

the DK message means it is time to replace the black drum unit. the drum unit is called an ARC26DU. open the front cover. remove the toner cartridge/s by lifting the green lever and pulling the toner out. Open the left side door. look at where you just pulled out the toner and there is one screw (facing you) holding each drum in place - loosen the screw and pull the drum unit out towards you....slide in the new drum unit.
to reset drum counter go into SIM mode by pressing the following keys one after the other "P" "*" "C" "*" then 24 and start/copy key then 7 then select the color drum you are replacing and confirm reset. make sure copier restarts afterwards

DO NOT refill these toner cartridges (even if you can find someone to do it) The toner cartridges for these machines have generally had ongoing problems as far as longevity and quality - refilling them will only make it worse.

How to remove waste toner from Sharp AR 5316 is my question - The Procedure, since our office has misplaced the user manual and CDs that which came with the Copier. Now the machine is 15 months old. Now...

The waste toner for this is a cartridge and can be access through the front cover but this cart. is sealed and should not over flow. It sounds like this machine may be dropping developer you can check this with a magnet if the powder you think is toner sticks to it it is DV. If this is the case you need a maintenance and also tell the tech to check the developer toner seal. If they get foled under they will pull dv out of the box.

Sharp copier ar-5316

That unit uses an AR-016TD Toner/Developer Cartridge. The developer is changed each time you replace the toner. To remove the drum unit open the right side cover, then the front cover, remove the TD cartridge, loosen the green screw on the front of the developer unit housing just above the TD slot. carefully remove the DV unit without tipping or you will spill out the existing DV. Then you can pull out the drum unit. There may be a green screw on the drum that must be loosened but I don't think so on that particular model. Installation is the reverse of removal.
