SOURCE: MY KEROSENE HEATER STARTS, RUNS MAYBE 5 MINUTES THEN SHUTS OFF

Same problem I had and it was the CAD/flmae sensor. you can get one that will fit from Mr. Heater for 3 bucks or from reddypats.com for 18. the wires are a different color but all you do is clip them and splice them to your old wire harness. It does''nt matter how you hook them as there is no hot and ground just a complete circuit.

SOURCE: Kerosene Portable Forced Air heater comes on, runs awhile

Here is a link to your owner's manual... http://12.153.20.74/manuals/123919-01A.PDF. Look on page 8 and 10. It could be several things. It could only be a dirty fuel filter or the pump pressure may just need adjustment. If you need a part you can contact Master Parts at 800-466-1446 or you can find them on-line at www.masterparts.net. I hope this helps!

SOURCE: kerosene heaters run for 30 mins then shuts off.

Sounds like the pump or air filter is dirty. If cleaning them doesn't help, the pump will need to be rebuilt.

SOURCE: I have a Reddy Pro 115 BTU kerosene heater the fan

When you say that the fan starts then stops I assume you also mean that the burner starts and stops. If this is correct and the unit is more than a couple of years old you probably need to change the filter in the back and set the pump pressure. Both the filters and the gauges to set the pressure can be found at www.reddyheat.com along with a good explanation as to why you need the gauges. The pressure is set by bleed air pressure and must be exactly 3.5 psig. The gauge is the only accurate way to do it. The filters clog and change the pressure. When the difference is enough the unit will not run. Now with that said there are several other things which you should check. Check the fuel tank for water. Remove any you find. Remove the cover on the right side as you look at the unit from the front and remove the circuit board. Check for cracked connections. If you find any resolder them and reattach the board. That should take care of the unit and get you back to making heat. Let me know if you need anything else.

Heater used once 3 yrs ago. Now wont start.

When the heater hums is the fan turning. If it is I would add more Kerosene. There is no shut off but the Kerosene is sucked out a tube from the top of the tank. This tube does not reach quite all the way to the bottom of the tank. Your heater should hold about 9 gallons if it is empty. A couple of gallons would give it plenty to run though. Let me know.

All pro heater runs for a couple of minutes.then

it only shuts down because of an overheating condition or the lack of fuel. if you have an ohm or multimeter, check the ohms on the fan and see if you have any resistance. If you do the fan is good but may still not be putting enough air across the heat exchanger to safely alloww the heater to run without causing a fire.

Keeps shutting off and the fan won't come on at all

Thed fan should come on soon after plugging in as long as the heater is cold. The heater then shuts off after sensing no flame. Either the wiring is bad, the fan motor is bad, of the top has been bent down so it is hitting the fan. Remove the top, make sure the fan turns freely and check power to the fan motor. The fan motor also turns the air pump that **** the ful out of the tank. Ck this and let me know if you need help.
