SOURCE: The clicker will not lock or unlock the front

Hi,
It sounds like your remote needs a new battery.
Your user manual should tell you what type... else, remove the old battery and find an equivalent.
Hope this helps... Good luck.

This is most likly a fuse problem. Check your fuses that say doors on the diagram. If you have o diagram then pull one fuse at a time and look to see if the wire inside is burnt or broken. Replace if it is. If not then replace the fuse back to the same spot and move to the next fuse. If you find one that is burnt then replace with same amp type fuse. There may be more then one that has burnt so go ahead and check them all. Keep me informed and I will continue other trouble shooting ideas if this did not fix the problem, Good Luck, The Raz

If the door starts to close and then the main lights flash 10 times and the door reverses to the open position you have a door sensor problem. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. Tweak them a bit.

SOURCE: Thought I lost the Clicker

Reset your whole unit using the reset button on the door actuator and then reprogram it. Start fresh by temporarily removing the battery from the remote as well.

Hello iris.... Your remote control needs a new battery. Once you install the battery check to see if it works. If not, then reprogram the remote by pushing the programming button on the back of the garage door motor, then while it is flashing push the button on the remote to reprogram it. Joe

Check the antenna on the motor. It is usually a single thin wire. There also could be something nearby that is causing interference to the unit and it wont pick up the signal till the transmitter is close enough to overpower the interference.

On the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and hold the button on your clicker while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Should do the trick.

Universal garage door remote

I have a feeling your neighbor operated their door opener when you were programming your new clicker. Try erasing the memory of your opener and then program the clicker again making sure your neighbors do not operate theirs at the same time. To erase the memory hold the smart/learn button in for 10 seconds.

Craftsman Garage Door Opener Can't Use Multiple Remotes!

THE UNIT CAN WORK WITH EITHER ROLLING CODE OR NON ROLLING CODE, NOT BOTH.
I WOULD GUESS THE CLICKER IS NOT ROLLING CODE.
I HAVE NEVER HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THE CLICKER REMOTES - GO AND GET ANOTHER REAL REMOTE - THE SAME SERIES AS THE ORIGIONAL.

GET A REFUND ON THE CLICKER - OR HAVE IT BRONZED FOR THE MANTEL.

HOPE THIS HELPS
