Does the unit receive power? If not, could be a burned fuse.

SOURCE: home theater system connections

Hi
I have the same tv but my dvd surround is a toshiba, that shouldn't matter though. When I watch a dvd I go to component 2 which is where I have my dvd connected on the input of the tv when I watch tv and want the surround on I go to component 1 which is the tv input then on my dvd player I go to auxillary and I can watch tv in surround. I don't know the LG home theatre system but you should be able to select your inputs like between dvd, tuner, aux. Flip between them and you should get sound. hope this helps.

SOURCE: subwoofer noise

You didn't say is your sub active or passive. If its active first check signal cables from theater system, power line of the sub, it has to be the same phase as the system. If its passive take a voltmeter disconnect the sub from the system and measure for DC voltage on the SUB output on the system when its OFF.If DC voltage is present your amp is damaged. It can also be that the preamp circuit for the sub doesn't mute the input when unit is on stand by and you hear frequency of your power supply (50-60Hz) on the sub

SOURCE: audio: hearing everything twice

you have a delay time on your home theater JVC, that is normal. So it's either you reduce the delay time of your JVC or do not use the TV sound. Set the delay time of your DSP so you can heqar the sound you wish... like the delay time of your surrond.

SOURCE: LG Home Theater System LHT754 no sound

All you are currently doing is getting sound OUT from the LG HT system. If you want sound from your cable or satellite, you have to run a seperate audio cable into the back of the LG system. If you are running a cable line straight into the TV you need to run an audio cable OUT of the TV so you get sound via the LG system.

Home theater player power button is blinking and I cannot turn it ON and off

Unplug it and then plug it back in and see if it still does this. If it does then there is a problem with the power supply in the unit.
