I bought a Jitter bug Smart 2 CELL PHONE . I used it for a while, then I deactivated it I now want to reactivate. I do not remember my phone number. Will u help me reactivate?

Solution

If the mouse/touchpad is not working, ensure that it is turned on. Press and hold the blue "Fn" key located in the lower left hand corner of the keyboard. and tap the "F7" key one time.
Fn-F7
A message should flash across the bottom center of the screen stating "touchpad enabled".

If this does not address the issue, the notebook may need service.

To start, we do not recommend removing the battery from a phone that is frozen while on. This can cause a short in the phone and do further damage. This should only be performed if you are instructed to do so while speaking with a customer service or technical support agent.

For an issue like this, the first thing we recommend is to try and turn off the phone, but it sounds like you have already tried this so I would recommend calling our Customer Service department for further troubleshooting. We can be reached (800) 733-6632 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I can tell you that two common causes of phones freezing are being an area with low service and unplugging the wall charger from a wall socket while the phone remains attached to the charger. It is always best to either plug in or unplug the wall charger from a socket when the phone is not attached.

Because the phone has been reported as stolen, it has been deactivated by the cell service provider. To get it reactivated, you will have to go in to provider's retail store and have the phone reactivated. You will need to take proper ID to prove you are who you say you are before they will reactivate the phone.

Okay, im going to assume that it is a prepaid phone? If not, just take it to your service provider. If it is, and you are desperate to unlock it, you can reactivate teh phone. When you provide reactivation for teh phone, it will terminate any and all remaining balances you have on your phone and give you a new number. The unlock code will be the last 4 numbers of your cell phone.

NOTE: You must deactivate your phone before this will work.
