LG Frontloader WD 1023c door not opening

If it won't unlock when powered down for a couple of minutes you will have to unplug the machine and then remove the top lid. you will then be able to access the rear of the door lock and pull the locking switch back to allow the door to be opened.

Maytag neptune mah3000aww washer. It cycles then sits at the end of spin, does not go off. then the door will not unlock. I turn to off, push off button. it is anyones guess if it opens

Possible that the door lock is not actuated to open after the end of the cycle and could be jammed. try using a degreasing spray like WD 40 and if there is any issue with the lock.

I pushed the 'pause' button during the wash cycle of my LG WD-3274HD and now the door won't open.

Hi!

The machine knows it dint't finish the washing cycle, and, because it may be possible that water is still a lot inside, the door is locked.
If you are shure the door can be opened without the water coming out by the door, simply disconnect it from the electrical supply and wait a few minutes until the door unlocks. (you will hear the unlock click)

Hi I hope you solved this by now but I thought an answer might be useful if anyone else has the same question. I am not an expert just an owner of a LG WD-1412RD. It sounds like your mum is not aware this is just the normal safety cool down period following drying (as the stainless steel interior gets very hot during drying). The Door lock sign (small red light) is on, and the display shows Cd during this time, then it beeps and the door unlocks by itself. If you need to remove your laundry earlier than this, you can press the START/PAUSE button to end the cycle (it still takes a couple of minutes). It sounds like you have a faulty interlock. This is what locks the door during the wash cycle.Sometimes they won't unlock and need to be replaced. There may be a pull tab inside the pump access area at floor level to get door open....Not a big job for a tech......Nomess

"de" means door is open you have to close the door titly then press the start bottom or check door switch if its out of order or not with digital multi meter.

Unplug machine, take lid off and locate the door lock. You will have to use a small screwdriver or something to release the lock. Then replace your door handle.

you will need to manually unlock the door... remove the top two screws in the back ..reach way down at the bottom of the door lock there is a pull down on the lock it will release the door... if your arms are not long enough use a bent coat hanger....once you have the door open .. remove the wire around the gasket .. remove outer gasket unscrew door lock. unplug wires and replace door lock...

sometimes you just have to force the door but first try hitting the machine near the door lock sometimes this helps the door interlock may be stuck in the closed position

Door assembly needs replacing, can open door using old credit card/drivers licence, sliding between cabinet and door(toward centre area of handle-behind it), pushing the door lock in left hand direction, you can remove the items from machine.

Very likely your door latch has a problem. How it works is when a program is in progress, a signal from the motor inhibbits the door from opening. only when the final spin is completed will the signal be given to open. Briefly switch power off for about 10 seconds then awitch on and re try to open door. If no luck, switsh off power and take kick panel off at bottom front of washer..Normally there is a flat ribbon type pull cord that will allow the door to open when pulled.Once opened, reclose securely and retry"open door button"after this it gets a little technical and testing equipt. is needed.
