SOURCE: LG Inverter Air Conditioner showing CH 02 what can I do?

The model number would be on the right hand side of the outdoor unit and same on the indoor unit if it is a midwall split. If it is a flat cassette cieling type you may need to open the grill, which is simply two little levers either side of the grill, and the grill will swing open. Without the model number it is difficult to give accurate info. However, I can offer the following. One, check the condensate drain. You can just blow into the drain pipe from the outside and this sometimes clears clogged mud in the drainpan. Or two, error reading can also come from phase failure (in the case of a three phase unit) or power related problem. This can be solved by switching off the mains and then switching on again to reset. If you have a phase failure you would need an electrician to confirm that the power supply is good. Unless you have a volt meter.

SOURCE: LG Tromm washer WM2688HWM tE error code. Very easy

LG Tromm Washing machine te error. The manual says to call for service. Not much help there. The reason for the error is the thermistor circuit (resistive element that becomes less resistive as it increases in temperature). The thermistor acts as a heat sensor. In many cases, the error occurs because the wireing harness is too tight at the bottom of the drum and one of the wires in this circuit becomes disconnected with all of the movement of the drum (unbalanced load, normal cylcing etc).

1. Unplug the washing machine from the wall. The thermistor circuit is at line voltage (110 in the U.S.) and it will bite! So do this first before proceeding.

2. Move the washer out so you can get access to the back of it.

3. Remove the stainless panel (the one that is not painted, it is large (aprox. 16x18 inches). It is held in place by 4 phillips screws.

4. Locate the thermistor connection block near the bottom of the machine, at the center of the wash drum. It is the small white connector that has two wires running to it. One wire is dark blue, the other is light blue. Insure that neither wire has pulled out of the connector. If either of them have, repair the connector and provide enough extra wire ( aprox. 2") to provide cable relief.

5. If the cable connector and wires are ok, there are other solutions here that recommend either cleaning or replacing the thermistor.

Good luck to you.

SOURCE: LG WM2277HW Thermistor (tE) issue

To be more specific, unplug unit. Behind the machine are two plastic kick plates, remove to slide off the top. Once off, two top self tap metal screws and one screw behind panel wall, remove. Remove two detergent screws. Lift electrical panel and set on top of machine. Remove four top screws. Bottom drain has one screw in front, take out plastic cover and one screw in back. Take off rubber by opening door. With a screw driver, prey and lift up the brass spring ring and remove. Then the front panel should slide up and out. Be careful because electric wire is still connected, move to the side of unit. You will then be able to find the thermostat. Unplug and replace, you will need to use the same rubber bushing. Took me an hour, I’m not an appliance repair guy.

Washing Machine Fault Codes

These fault codes are written for washing machine repairers and not for the general public and they assume a certain level of competence on the part of the user in diagnostic routines. I have added some notes to try to assist you in determining the nature of the fault you have but, you will still need to investigate each failure on its own merits.

Please check that any washing machine spares recommended are suitable for use on your particular model and serial number. Please, don't guess or assume as spares can be altered on a production run with the same model number having several different alternative components used.

E1
Not filling in allocated time

This is essentially a fill timeout error which will normally mean that either the water isn't on or that an inlet valve has failed. We do list the generic water inlet valves for Samsung washing machines in this section and, if you're clever you can use one of those by altering the connections but, if you need the genuine one specific to your model please contact us.

E2
Pump won't empty - not draining

As usual with these error codes for not draining the first thing to do is check the pump filter. When replacing the drain pump there are two basic options, the genuine one from your manufacturer or the cheap version which is essentially the same pump.

Also see below about detergent use as it applies to drain errors as well as overfill error codes.

E3
Overflow - overfilling with water

This fault code tells you that the washing machine has detected an overfill situation and, usually, they will stop and drain for safety then report the error code above.

This error can be caused by poor quality detergent or overdosing detergent both leading to excessive foam. This foam traps air in the pressure sensor hose and falsifies the error of an overfill. If this is the case, if you leave the machine for an hour or so and try it again it should then be clear but, whatever you do when you try it again do not put more detergent in the machine.

If this solves it, adjust the detergent quantity or switch to a better quality detergent to prevent it happening again.

E4
Out Of Balance (OOB) detected

This is basically an imbalanced wash load detected that the machine has failed to sort out on its own and therefore couldn't spin to the full speed. Just sort the load and try it again.

E5
Water temp rising or falling too quickly

Normally an NTC temperature sensor or wiring to the sensor that's faulty.

E6
Water temp rising or falling too quickly

As above.

E7
Pressure switch

The error code is telling you that there is an error or fault somewhere in the pressure switch circuit, this could be the switch itself, the wiring or the main control module.

E8
Temp too high on low temp washes

Normally this will be the wash temperature thermistor or NTC that's faulty, please contact us if you need the thermistor with the model and serial number.

E9
Water leak, Water level has reduced

Basically this fault code means that the water level has dropped while the machine has been running so, it's either a leak, faulty pressure sensor, wiring, water escaping to the drain or the control PCB.

EA
Motor tacho generator error

Self explanatory fault code. Most manufacturers do not supply parts for their motors, only full motors and they can be model specific.

EB
Motor triac error

As above.

EC
Thermistor

A thermistor is a type of resistor whose resistance varies significantly with temperature, more so than in standard resistors. The word is a portmanteau of thermal and resistor. Thermistors are widely used as inrush current limiters, temperature sensors, self-resetting over-current protectors, and self-regulating heating elements.

Thermistors differ from resistance temperature detectors (RTD) in that the material used in a thermistor is generally a ceramic or polymer, while RTDs use pure metals. The temperature response is also different; RTDs are useful over larger temperature ranges, while thermistors typically achieve a higher precision within a limited temperature range [usually 90 °C to 130 °C].

As fault code E8

ED
Door Open

Close the door and restart the program!

If that doesn't cure the problem it will most likely mean that the door lock is faulty and there's two commonly used on Samsung washing machines, this one and this one

Is the error code f-22 on a kenmore HE 2 dryer dangerous???

The F-22 error indicates that the thermistor that detects the exhaust temperature has failed. (Sometimes the wiring between the thermistor and the control board will be faulty.) Sometimes the issue can be triggered by cold if the dryer is in an unconditioned space.

Unplug the dryer and access the wiring and thermistor. Check the wiring harness connections. Use a voltmeter to check the resistance across the thermistor. At normal room temperature, the resistance should be about 10,000 Ohms.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model number (including the Kenmore prefix) if you need the parts diagram or other information about the dryer.

Whirlpool duet WED85HEFW 0 error code f03 e01

The F3 E1 error for a Whirlpool dryer like this indicates a problem with the exhaust thermistor. Either there is an open in the circuit or or the temperature is below 18 degrees F. If dryer exhaust air really is that cold, dry your items when it's warmer in your laundry room. Otherwise, you need to check the wiring and the resistance across the thermistor. Replace the bad part.

See https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/wed85hefw0/1198/0151200.html for a parts diagram.

I hope this helps.

(There is also an F03 E01 error on Duet washers that indicates a problem with the pressure switch system. The switch could be faulty or the air tube is clogged, kinked or damaged. Checking the tube for clogs is the simplest part - disconnect it and try to blow through it. If you have no problem, then it's clear. If those are fine, you need to check the wiring between the switch and the control board. Replace the faulty part.)

TE code wm2688hnm

proceed with common sense and logically, fix it use the Vom or DVOM .God bless you

For this error code you need to check both the water heater or element and thermistor, basically the washing machine is reporting a fault on the heating circuit with this fault code but it is not capable of identifying exactly where the fault actually lies.
On non-display panel models this fault code is denoted by the lights for 95, 60, 40 and cold being lit or flashing.

  • Check water heating element
  • Check heater for contunuity,
  • Check steam heater for continuity usually
  • Check thermistor or temperature sensor
  • Check the thermistor resistance,
  • Check wiring to water heating element
  • Check connections to water heating element and temperature sensor
