SOURCE: power LED on but no boot up

it could be your power switch, veriy that it isnt the power supply by

1.) un-plug it from the main board
2.) look at the main board connector(one coming of the power supply)
3.) you should see green wire and next to it a black one
4.) using a paper clip bridge the too wires
5.) if it works proceed to net step if not get a new power supply

to check case switch and board switch

1.) plug in power supply to main board
2.) look at the pins where the power button connects to
3.) using a metal object (blade screw driver) bridge the pins

if the board should start up>
then its your power button on the case that is bad, you can try to repair it, chage it or buy a new case,

if it doesnt work.
1.) ensure that jcms(jumper to flash the bios) is set correctly
2.) unjack each drive one at a time to see if any is causing stalling
3.) get a new main board

We have a noma inside timer program and have no mamual for it and cannot seem to have it come on

Timer is not identified:
Look at following options:

Noma brand is old Intermatic brand that is sometimes/usually associated with Woods, but is also be used by various sellers to denote they are marketing a timer.

1) Add a comment and describe timer in detail, and/or post a photo of timer on Flicker and add a comment with link to photo.

2) Open following link to identify same-similar timer and download possible manual
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html

3) If timer will not operate, last step troubleshoot is to reset timer.
Most plug-in timers have reset button. Press reset button and see if timer display is restored.
Some timers require additional button pushed along with reset button, some timers require 2 buttons pushed to reset timer.
Some timers have a batter that needs to be replaced. Replace battery and reset timer.
If functionality is not restored after reset, then check outlet for power. Test outlet with circuit analyzer.
If outlet is good and if functionality is not restored, then timer has gone bad.

I bought the heater around 2 months ago. It was working fine earlier but now it wont turn on. I have unplugged it and let it sit and am still unable to get it turn on. I checked the outlet and that is...

hello, Most all new heaters of this class have integrated controls that are part of the unit itself that are highly sensitive to power surge's and shorts. If the outlet it is plugged into is live and working the most likely a bad control board. These units almost always come with a minimum 2 year warranty most of the time more and seeing as you bought it recently i can help you find the proper information for retrieving the warranty if i know what retailer it came from IE: walmart, Amazon.com, buy.com, eBay, ETC.
I have a cabin in a area that has many power outages and surges due to old utilities and i use either a GFIC outlet or a single outlet surge protector (after a few problems of the similar type.
if you need anymore information or have any questions please let me know.

New GE electric kettle causes wall outlet to stop working.

Your electric kettle in drawing more current than your wall outlet's are made for. Not being able to read your current draw on your GE kettle I would guess you have a bad GE kettle and it needs to be returned to where you bought it.

Delonghi TRD0715T Safe Heat Oil-Filled Radiator will not work, won't turn on its new just taken out of the box

Ditto same problem. Took it out of the box, plugged it in the electric outlet and did not turn on.
I tried atleast 5 different electric outlets to make sure nothing is wrong with the outlet. Tried changing the timer settings. No use.

Returned it to Lowe's.
