The blossoms only last a few days. If it was in full bloom then and you didnt let it dry out completely, it is normal. It should bloom again next year (under proper lighting conditions and soil fertility).

SOURCE: how can i remove the

We have had the same problem. Here is a solution that has worked.
Turn on the dishwasher with detergent as usual. After the initial drain and fill, stop machine open door and add about 2 cups of white vinegar. Close door and let machine continue cycle. I think you will find that it removes "bloom" on glassware and on the interior of the machine. The trick is to not cancell the cycle but to continue it with the vinegar so that the heat can help the process. J.

SOURCE: sony KDFE42A10 bloom in middle of picture

I have the KDF-E42A10 and my co-worker has the 50". Similar problem started in early September and it is definitely the optical block, which is due to a faulty manufacturing design flaw. Spoke with half a dozen people at Sony, including their National Customer Relations Customer Information Services Center and all have the same response that "they understand it is an issue but they are unable to accommodate since our models are not part of the extended coverage list". Basically they do not have enough complaints to justify adding our models. So anyone with a 2005 model I suggest you write a letter to these two addresses and voice your concerns, issues, and complaints. They do review these on a quarterly basis and if they do notice an increase they may consider encompassing our models. Unfortunately in the in meantime you may have to pay for the repairs out of pocket but hopefully when they finally include us we will seek reimbursement.

My Christmas cactus buds always fall off after purchase how can I prevent this

Many factors are involved. The abrupt change in environment is the most likely cause. This includes sunlight, soil moisture, relative humidity, and ambient temperature.

It could also be if the entire plant was in full bloom (no immature buds) it ran through it's normal bloom cycle.

So it's difficult to say which of the many factors are the main problem.

My lemon tree never blooms, what am I doing wrong?

How old is the tree? Sometimes it takes several years before it begins to bloom. I have a potted Meyers Lemon that I move inside in the winter and outside in the summer. It didn't bloom for the first 5 years I had it and it finally did in the 6th season.

I have two christmas cactuses. One blossoms the other does not. WHY?

How does a Christmas cactus know when to bloom?
Care of Christmas Cactus in Bloom. Christmas cactus plants should continue receiving dark, cool treatment for at least 6-8 weeks, or until buds begin forming. Once buds have formed, it usually takes up to 12 weeks (or less) for blooms to appear. The plant should also be relocated at this time.29 Jan 2015
