Can I update my older IPad model mD528c/A to IOS10?

Hi,
this model seems to be an older model. It may not be able to accept the more recent updates issued by Apple.

to get the most recent updates it can accept :
- click 'Settings'
- scroll down to 'General'
- click 'Software update' on the right hand column.

available updates will be shown after a few seconds, if there are any that will work with you iPad.

Yes the latest version of Pages and Numbers that ran on IOS10 will work with documents from the IOS11 version via icloud

highly depends on the model of your iPad but you can install iTunes from the apple website and update your iPad that way but if the version goes no higher for your iPad model then it is already at the latest it can run

Generally you cannot install older versions of software onto iPads or iPhones. But if you contact the developer they may be able to help.

Ipad 1 / 3g is limited to iOS 5.11 only. No idea if Ipad 2 can go up to iOS 8. Upgrading a older model with a newer software isn't really going to be smooth.

Apple will let you know when updates are available for your device. If you have an older model, iOS 6 will not work with your processor. Work with an older version of the app or update to a newer device.

For the iPad first generation (A1219) before iOS 5 to update is only possible with connecting the device to iTunes on a computer. Plug it into your computer and open up itunes under devices click on your ipad and then click on check for update.
- but this model supports only iOS 5 !
- NO iOS 6/7/8 !

There are two ways to update the iOS version of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch - via connecting the device to iTunes on a computer
- or directly from within the device, but only since iOS 5 it is possible to update the iOS version without the need to connect the iOS device to a computer (over-the-air update)
