Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the Samsung’s website(http://www.samsung.com/). Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
You have to update the firmware on the player to resolve the issue. To get the firmware upgrade, download the latest version of the Philips Device Manager from Philips' website, install the new Device Manager, and then click on the update button inside the new Device Manager.
i held the volume+ button in while i plugged the usb cable. the computer recognized new hardware was found. i opened the phillips device manager and hit the repair tab. it automatically ran a repair through the mp3. then i installed new firmware through the phillips device manager. i lost all my contents but windows media 11 sync all my music back. THANKS ANYWAY!!!!
