If the app does not see the TV, then probably the frequency used by TV IR sensor are not in range (not all TV can be managed in this way),.

That means that the app you downloaded was originally made for the iPhone. The only way to make it bigger is to Max out the window which would just make it bigger and more blurry.

Try restetting the TV by unplugging for 2 minutes then retrying it. If it still fails then there is most likely a failure on the main board in the TV

You need a wireless or wired internet connection into the TV or another device that connects to the TV like a blu-ray player with Wi-Fi included. Once you have the bluray player installed, then you access their menu and install their apps. Each bluray player is different so you would have to answer back with a model and manufacturer to give you specifics to your model.
