most universal remotes have the ability to manually run through all codes by pressing channel + until the amp turns off. once it turns off, press the set or setup key to store the last code that was transmitted.

Hey Howeiw, I know that posting links doesn't help majorly, but I was unable to Find an "EV-1000 10.4 inch LCD Television" The closest I could find was just an EV-1000B. But that is not the same model. If you take some time when you have a chance, and visit http://www.xdiv.com/remotes/, That site has ALL of the Remote Codes for all Cable Systems.

Call Philips to order the replacement remote, or order online yourself by going to www.usasupport.philips.com and entering in the model number of your Surround System. Click on the Parts & Accessories link to order the remote. 1-888-PHI-LIPS

Nowdays there are CLONE type remotes available form electrical stores.

These clone type remotes carry all the codes necessary to work TV, Vdeos, CD players and other domestic sound systems.

I would suggest that you visit one of these stores and see what they have for your ONKYO system, the cost is not great and you will walk out with a complete remote for your system that will work all the other controls as well..
The stores have a fold out paper list, (thats very long) showing model and manufacturer detail for what codes you need to enter into the new remote to make it compatible wuith your ONKYO system.

Note: In order for you to watch your TV your TruTech T650-DR must be on. Not shure what you mean by code? but setup go,s like this.

Out DISHNET to in on your Trutech T650-DR
Out TruTech T650-DR to in TV Note: the name of the input on your TV video 1 or video 2.
Just like your DISHNET you need to be on Ch 3 or 4 what ever is open.
turn on your DISHNET and your Trutech T650-DR Do you see a Trutech logo on your TV?
If yes, Keep pressing the source Button on your Trutech T650-DR remote Tell you have a TV Ch. then press the return button.
use your DISHNET remote to watch your tv.
