Yes, unless a technician may have removed it during a previous service. It should be located behind the controller assembly, sometimes in a small envelope.

At my Web site, I have a video showing you how to remove a typical microwave controller in about 5 minutes.

Kitchenaid khms155lss4 microwave combo went dead what fuse should i check frist

Check to make sure you are getting power to the receptical, plug a lamp to confirm. Next unplug microwave oven and remove top, "several screws" now look inside where the keypad is, follow the wiring to the circuit board, there should be a small glass or ceramic fuse clipped in, before you take it out discharge silver rectangular capacitor with a screwdriver across the points to make sure all voltage is removed. Now unclip the fuse and test, if open replace with the same current rating, if no change I recommend a technician to take it further. Please remember there is extreme high voltage when unit is plugged in and running making it lethal, put the top back on for safety sake.

How do i fix a broken microwave handle on a kitchen aid? model# KHMS155LSS0

Your handle can be purchased from Sears at the link below, part number 7 depending on your color and finish A - C for $36.18. You can also view the schematic for the door and based on the picture, you can see how to disassemble the door by removing screw (Part Number 8).

KitchenAid KCMS145J Microwave Door Latch Broke

I downloaded a parts schematic of the door latch assembly and thought I would determine the broken part, order a replacement and install same. As soon as I started to remove the shell of the unit to get at the latch assembly, I discovered non-standard fasteners are used. My wife advised me to stop and take it to a service center because she did not want me to mess up the containment of the radiation! Thanks for your interest. MB

Microwave doesn't have any power, ** Display, **thing...

Nice touch with the diagram. Thanks!

The neutral line passes through the cavity thermostat, which may be open. In the schematic, it's left of the center bottom.

In the pictorial diagram, it's located just below where you added the note "120V OK". Its top half is cut off in the picture and it has blue and white wires attached.

Also, the low voltage (LV) transformer shows fuses in its primary and secondary, although one or both may be internal and inaccessible.

It may also be a problem on the control board, which we repair nationwide for only $39.95 postpaid. Feel free to reply back if you need further assistance.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
