Hi, the sound box goes into the back of the Sleep Sheep. There is a velcro strap across the back -- move this strap and the sound box fits right into the cavity. Place it so that the dial and buttons face out, so you can access them, and the velcro strap hooks it in. The strap fits right between the dial and the switch for the timer.

The Sleep Sheep is a great product. Hope it works well!

I have verified that the Mensa puzzle and the "Big Sheep Puzzle" at www.thebigsheep.co.uk are identical. The spotted sheep are replaced by the brown sheep in the Mensa puzzle. The instructions on the box claim 2 identical tiles, but there are really 2 sets of identical tiles in the puzzle. The author of the link above found 55 distinct solutions.

Do you have both the volume dial turned on and a sound selected? In order for the Sleep Sheep to work, you have to turn the volume dial on (you'll hear it click) and then select one of the four sounds by pressing one of the buttons. If you just turn the volume on by itself, no sound will come out until you pick one.

Hi, Cloud B (the company that makes the Sleep Sheep) doesn't offer replacement parts for retail sale. You can try contacting them at either [email protected] (customer service) or [email protected] (general questions) to see about obtaining replacement parts, but your best bet is to just buy a new Sleep Sheep. Amazon sells the Sleep Sheep for $17.95 right now, which is probably less than you'd pay for a new sound machine from the manufacturer.

Hi, it sounds like your Sleep Sheep may need new batteries. When the batteries begin to die, the Sleep Sheep starts to act erratically, sometimes only turning on for a second or two, or only working if you hold down one of the buttons.

To open the battery compartment, you'll need a tiny Phillips screwdriver, like one found in a computer repair toolkit or an eyeglass repair toolkit. Once you've removed the two screws, slide the battery cover to the left (away from the screw holes). The Sleep Sheep takes two AA batteries.

Hi, luckily with the Sleep Sheep, the internal circuitry is easy to get to by removing some screws. Does the sheep turn on at all? Does it start and then stop? Do any of the sounds work, at any volume levels?

Hi, the Sleep Sheep can be set for 23 minutes by moving the lever to the left, or 45 minutes by moving it to the right. If you don't want to use the shut-off feature, move the lever to the middle, and the sheep should stay on until you turn it off manually.

The key to getting the next sheep is to encounter the pig and run in cirles when he comes to attack as this makes the dog icon flash, took me ages to figure this out, then the dog sends the sheep away and you can pick up the bone - then take it to bitzer to get into the house. Hope this helps.
