SOURCE: Kolher 17hp motor blowing oil/gas mix out of breather tube
I had the same problem! I found that the needle valve in the carb was not shutting off the fuel flow when not running. Either replace needle valve or put a shut off valve in the fule line. Should take care of the problem
SOURCE: I have a homelite xl-12 . It runs but the muffler
This is likely a long term situation that occurs with either, incorrect premix, incorrect oil being used in the premix or the motor is running too rich. The discharge over time, will clog the exhaust and the engine will become more and more difficult to start. To fix:
1. Rebuild your carburetor. This is relatively easy and the cost would typically be less than $15 as a DIY.
2. Tune the carburetor (especially the 'H' high speed jet) at wide open throttle (WOT) to get the engine to the highest RPM's then back it off about 1/8 turn
3. Replace spark plug
4. Clean air filter with soap/water and lightly spray with oil.
If you are unable to clean the inside of the muffler, replacement may be necessary depending how clogged it has become.
SOURCE: what type of fuel is
Check to see whether 4 stroke is written on engine. If this is the case, regular gas can be used.
Testimonial: "Thank you sir! :D"
SOURCE: fuel and two stroke mix pls oil type for chain pls
For almost all modern two-stroke engines, a 50-to-1 mixture is recommended. That requires about 2 1/2 oz. oil for every gallon of gasoline.
SOURCE: oil is mixing with diesel then splashes out
Need more input here iam afraid ,like make and model and where the leak is if the fuel is mixing with oil do not drive it could hydraulic or even worse run away with itself and just run till it blows up ,once it goes turning the key off will not stop the engine it will run on the sump oil mix and watch a con rod come through the block
