My re-chargeable speaker will no mlonger hold a charge m(still works when plugged in) I cannot see how to dismantle it to get to the battery. Is it possible to buy and fit a new one?
According to Blaupunkt, they don't want you to open the unit

Looks like the battery is similar to those used in cordless phone handsets.

Check all your fuses if you had a system failure it could have blown a fuse. I am not sure on your vehicle where the fuse is in the car or under the hood it could also have a relay. You can check your alternator by checking the voltage at the back of the alternator where the big wire bolts on. You should have 14+ volts at the alternator.

rechargeable batteries are definitely a better bet. I have used many Wii battery packs and chargers, none seem to last very long.

SOURCE: Black and Decker battery charger does not work.
Black & decker chargers and bulbs for the light are JUNK..Don't waste your money on their products.I have 2 chargers for the 24 volt batts-1 is only 2 months old-It blew the fuse {soldered to the circuit board} I'm putting in a fuse holder but don't know the amp of the fuse-I'm starting with a 1 amp slo-blo and going up until it works or goes up in smoke..I had loads of problems with this B&D 3 piece set---It's only 1 year old..Total waste of money..

I've dismantled and removed battery, just trying to find a replacement.
