1. Check the power supply to the oven. Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the outlet and that the outlet is providing power.
2. Check for a loose wiring connection inside the oven.
3. Check the display control board for any signs of damage or corrosion.
4. Replace the display control board if necessary.
If the oven does not work on bake or broil settings then there has to be a problem with the circuit, either on the control board or the thermostat. If only the bake element does not work then the element itself most likely needs to be replaced. There are ways to isolate further but takes some basic electrical knowledge and tools. Note that I am not recommending that you do the following linked procedure - merely pointing out an information source. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZNyEqXCNOA
Does the rest of the oven work ok? Did the timer work OK before the outage? Is the oven under warranty? Was the power outage at your home only? Check with the manual to see if it addresses your problem, there may be a way to reset the system and then I would say that you would need to contact Westinghouse and explain the situation.
hello im not sure how to set the clock on my oven move in my houe 4 mnths ago and i cant bake in it unless i turn the grill on so would u please tell me how to set the time thankyou Sylvana
Go online and type in westinghouse ovens/stoves that looks similar to yours and look for one with dig readout. Then type in that model # then manual on a Google search and see what pops up. I'm sure that most if not all of them are then same for setting time..
After getting an electrician out, apparently the time needs to be set on the oven. As we're in a rental & don't have a manual/ couldn't download one, we got it to work after holding the first two buttons in (the timer buton + the one that looks like a hot pot) along with the + button at the far right, which made the tim tick on, so it could be set.
